"i'm happy that i get to see william and then go to america." i say to chris as i pack my bags.

"i'm happy that i get to see william with you and then also go to america."

"different parts."

chris and astrid are going on a trip together to america. they're going to new york city, orlando, dallas, denver, san francisco, and then wrapping the month long trip up with a trip to me in venice beach. it's very cute, and it's her present to him for actually graduating high school. she didn't think he would do it.

"same end result."

"can you help me?" i poke his leg with a hanger.

"yes." he goes to my underwear drawer.

"ew." i push him away from the drawer and towards my wardrobe instead. "all the dresses you think are cute. put in a pile."

"dresses?"

"my mom's got art shows that i have to attend, honey." i say, and he laughs.

"honey." he repeats and i flip him off. "will i have to bring a nice shirt or anything? for her shows? are there any when i'll be visiting?"

"uh, i'm not sure, i'll let you know." i say. "she typically does popups, so they're not exactly scheduled."

"ooh, popups."

"shut up." i push his shoulder. "i'm going to miss you."

"it's just a month apart." he laughs. "and then we'll be together for two weeks, and then i'm back here, apartment searching." he kisses my temple.

"hmm." i smile. "living together is going to be nice."

"wake up sex. sleepy sex. you get back from school sex. i get back from work sex. so much sex without worrying about someone walking in."
