Ambers POV
I woke up by my phone ringing. I looked at the time at its 8:38. It was dark outside.
"Ahem. Hello?" I said with my eyes closed.
"Amber?" I hear a low voice spoke.
"Austin?" I said sitting up slowly.
"Yea." He said sadly.
"What happened?" I said getting up and turning on the light.
"We were suppose to meet at the beach" He said again.
"Oh ..." I said slowly.
"When did you say that?" I asked him.
"This morning..." He paused and I didn't speak.
"When I went to your house..." He continues.
"Um never mind. Anyways I told you to meet me at the beach and you didn't come. Are you okay?" He asks me. I smiled.
"Yea I'm okay. I had to see Doctor Ruben again." I said calmly.
"Why?" He said concerned.
"I don't know. Mom or Doc didn't tell me anything..." I said
"I'm sorry I didn't come. Ive been having a hard time remembering things lately." I continued.
"I'll be there tomorrow morning okay?" He said quickly.
"Okay .. I'll see you later" I said hanging up. My eyes started getting heavy. Then everything went black.

Austins POV
I knocked on Ambers front porch. I waited for a couple of minutes and I hear someone running to the door.
The door swings open and its Ambers mom. She's in her robe.
"I'm sorry to wake you Mrs.McAllen." I said looking down.
"No its okay Austin. Ummm ..." She hesitated.
"Come in." She said opening the door wider for me to come in. I walked in and sat on the couch.
