I'm a trust find baby you can trust me-Hamilton
SOME ONE TAKE HAMILTON AWAY FROM ME"When I was younger I was certain that I'd be fine without a queen." Vic Fuentes sighed into the phone, and his best friend Rayven let out a sigh of her own. "Let me guess. Just a king inside his castle, with an ocean in between?" She asked, and he nodded though she couldn't see it. "I'm sorry Vic." She whispered, and then shouting could be heard in the background, most likely her daughter Angelica playing with her husband Chris. "Shit. I gotta go. Ang decided to get a kitchen knife." She rushed, and hung up quickly.
As soon as she did, he dialled another number, one he knew he wouldn't get a response from. "Now all I do is sit and count the miles from you to me. I'm at 30 now." He whispered into the voicemail of the person he swore he'd never call, yet there he was.Oh, calamity
We get older by the hour
Watch the changes from afar"We always keep forgetting to remember where we've been is who we are." He laughed the next day, and sighed at the emptiness on the other end of the line. "Now all I do is wonder why we ever set the scene." He scoffed, as his voice broke and his breathing hitched, tears finding their way to his eyes. "Fucking. Kellin, it's such a shame that we play strangers. No act to change what we've become. Damn, it's such a shame that we've built a wreck out of me." He sighed, and then hung up tears clouding his vision.
I'll remember nights alone
And waking up to dial tones"Always found my greatest moments in the sound of her hello's." He sighed to Rayven, and she rolled her eyes. "Can you please stop being so depressed? Your gonna make my child depressed and then I'll have to cut you." She joked, her eyes watching him worriedly. "I'm fine Ray."
Now I struggle to recall
The reasons you
Would come to leave
Oh, calamityA year later Vic was walking down the cracked sidewalks of Los Angeles when he caught a glimpse of ebony hair just ahead of him. He thought nothing of it, just continued walking towards the bus stop. "If I catch you on the corner, will you even know it's me?" He muttered, and stopped next to the person he had seen slowly, biting his lip as they waited together. Suddenly the person turned to face him, and his breath caught in his throat at the porcelain pale skin, pink lips and wide blue green eyes framed by long black lashes and the ebony locks he had prayed to never see again. "Vic?" The voice asked, soft as a angels. "Hi." Vic whispered back, diverting his gaze as the bus pulled up in front of the pair, Vic climbing on quickly and going to a seat, Kellin walking on and looking around helplessly until he waved her back to where he sat. "Can we find a new beginning?" She asked as she sat down, and he scoffed "Do you turn the other cheek?" He asked back, and she hung her head. "I listen to all your messages. Everyday."
"But you can't call back?"It's such a shame that we play strangers
No act to change what we've become"Damn, it's such a shame that we play strangers no act to change what we've become." She laughed, and he rolled his eyes back to her, a light and airy feeling in his chest like what happened every time he was near her. "Damn, it's such a shame that we've built a wreck out of me." He whispered, and she turned with a smile. "Wrecks can always be made into something new Vic." She whispered, and pressed her lips against his, smiles never leaving thei faces, even when they parted ways at their stops.
Oh, calamity
Come back to me
