"Since you left, I've been holding onto a memory." Gerard Way started, his hazel eyes falling to the floor in front of him as Lyn turned, her eyes passive. "I so damn sick of you."
"I guess. You're not mine anymore."
"I never was Gee." she whispered and then turned and left without a word.

"She said you need to let me go." he whispered later to his friend Frank, who clapped a ham on the older mama shoulder be for taking a sip of his drink. "Anything else?"
"She said I'd die for you, you're like my drug but I can't get high off you." he said slightly louder, looking up only to stop breathing when he saw Lyn standing behind Frank. "You're not mine anymore." she choked, and then once again left.

"Ayy, I still remember what you wore on the first night." Gerard giggled three hours later into the phone, alcohol heavy on his breath and Lyn heavy on his mind as he stumbled up the stairs to his bedroom. He stopped at the doorway and looked at the space, colder and emptier without her presence there before shaking it off.  "Still remember how that black dress had your curves right. Hell I still remember smokin' just to calm my nerves." he said with a soft laugh, and then shook his head. "That is till you had to leave and grabbed your purse, I grabbed first. There were no words it was just you. Body against mine, makeup on my shirt. Black eyeshadow. I'll never forget that. Blood red lipstick on my neck, whiskey on my breath." he stopped then, clenching his eyes shut against the pain of the memory.

"And I can't be myself without you. I am not well."
"Gerard your just re-"
"Okay, I said that before but, Lyn, I need you now."
"You need to let me go Gee." she whispered, her voice soft and pleading.
"Lyn please. Your like my drug."
"I can't get high off you." she said with a soft sigh as Gerard wiped a tear off his face.
"I've been holding onto a memory." he said, and she let out a small laugh.
"You changed. And I'm so damn sick of you."
"Your not mine anymore." he whispered into the line, throwing the phone across the room when she simply hung up.

You're not mine anymore
