As the morning sun rose the warmth from it reaches the window and blinds the girl as she shifted to get away from the bright light. She felt a figure shift on her legs, back and front. Confusion consumes her as she tries to get up without awakening who they are mark who was apparently the one who was sleeping on her leg in a most likely uncomfortable position, inari for some reason was the one who was In front of her which was marks bed, but what surprised her was Naruto who was cuddling her back asleep.
(Y/n) pov:
'Boys are weird' as she got up removing mark from her legs waking him up in the process,"oops sorry if I woke you up little-buddy" I smile sympathetic,"its alright um can you do me a favor tho (y/n)?""sure what is bro?""can you make.....pancakes for me please?""what sure um let me check if they have the ingredients for it though" I said I grabbed my dress and looked at it for a second, maybe a change up wouldn't hurt........right?

'Nice' I walked back out the bathroom to the kitchen throughout the morning ended up finding what I wanted and I decided To make omelettes for everyone.

I hear rapid footsteps getting closer I looked to the side to see everyone looking at me with a spatula in hand with the other a pan slowly tilting it landing on the plate.....for some odd reason it was awkward.....,"umm hi I made breakfast....you guys hungry?"
Narrator pov:
(Y/n) began to distribute the plates to everyone except mark. She smiled and rubbed his head and walked back to return with a plate of pancakes just like the ones she made on his birthday,"thank you (y/n)!" Mark said happily,"sakura (y/n) you're on guard today Naruto sasuke continue what you guys were doing yesterday" Kakashi spoke out he grabbed his plate and walked to his room."well Sakura I guess we will be having some girl time" (y/n) happily clapped her hands,"yay" Sakura said enthusiastically. Naruto ate quickly and chugged down his drink he sprinted out the door sasuke took his time and later followed behind the blond boy. Mark has finished his breakfast and walked to the kitchen to clean his plate,"that brother of yours is helpful isn't he?" Inaris mom smiled at (y/n),"ya... He is....in all honesty he's the best thing that's ever happened to me" (y/n) said finishing her plate she started to get up but was stopped by inari,"what about me... Am I helpful to you onee-chan?""of course you're helpful inari like I said you're like a second little brother" she said pinching his cheek.
Mark pov:
"that brother of yours is helpful isn't he?" I heard Inaris mom speak,"ya... He is....in all honesty he's the best thing that's ever happened to me" (y/n) said. I smiled as I continue to clean the plates that were left behind. (Y/n) walked in and rubbed my head," (y/n) is it possible for me to come with you?""I'm sorry mark but I think it would be safer for you to stay here with inari and his mom" she said sadly," okay I'll be here....bored...alone...isolated...nothing to do....yin and yang will probably do something dumb and hopefully entertain me...." I said while swaying my head," Hey! You're not gonna be alone you have inari to play with and yin and yang will not do anything dumb but if you do get bored then just go outside and play run be a kid you ain't gonna stay as a kid forever with bro" (y/n) ranted out scolding me about being a kid going outside enjoy the time while I have it I sighed in defeat,"okay"
"Okay I have to get going mark Sakura already left with tazuna I'll be back in a couple hours" she kissed my head bye,"bye..." I whispered. She walks out with her bag I filled it with sandwiches knowing she will get hungry later.
(Y/n) pov:
'This town is sad there are so many abandoned kids in the streets' (y/n) thought as she passed by so many lonely, and most likely hungry children. I was able to catch up quickly as I could see sakuras vibrant pink hair. They walked in a store I walked in just in time to see a guy staring at Sakura 'what the hell is this guy doing staring at her like a pedo' I walked closer to the guy I hear a girl yell as Sakura kicked the man straight in the,"AHAHAHAHA" I laughed at the injured man Sakura saw me a glared at me with rosy cheeks clearly embarrassed from the incident,"you okay there mate?" I questioned her with a sweatdrop trying so hard not to laugh."ya thanks for asking can we leave now?" Tazuna nodded we walked for a bit. I felt a boop on my butt I turned glaring at the unlucky person to see a young kid,"um hi there kid do you want something?" I asked they nodded and stuck out their hands,"um hold up give me a sec" I looked through my bag and found loads of sandwiches 'mark' I thought he likes to make me sandwiches because that's all he knows how to make....without burning the room 'the bag is basically filled with sandwiches and I don't need this bag anymore I can always get another one',"here ya go kid you can have all of it" I took off the bag around my body and resized it so it wouldn't drag behind them as they walked. They looked in the bag and lit up with happiness,"thank you miss!" I watched as they ran away in the opposite side. I turned and began to walk as Sakura was in tears seeing the touching moment. Tazuna explained how it's been like this since gato got here the reason why the bridge has to be done....to bring hope.
~couple hours later~
We return from the "store" mark asked me about my bag which resulted to me telling him not to worry about it. Sasuke and Naruto rushed their food 10 seconds later start puking on the ground,"what's the point in eat if you're just going to puke it out!"Sakura shouted,"I have to get stronger"" I have to eat more than him so I can get stronger than him" both Naruto and sasuke said,"yes that's true but puking won't help you" Kakashi said calmly"you boys are dumb I swear" I whispered,"hey Naruto how you doing is in the tree climbing"I questioned him,"oh you know (y/n)  better and better that tree has nothing against me!" Naruto shouted enthusiastic. I smiled,"well okay then keep going you'll make it I know it" Naruto blushed looking down,"thank you (y/n)-chan""yorks and you sasuke?  I mean knowing you you probably already made it to the top" I looked at sasuke,"Hn yea I'm close I just need a little more though" he sternly said,"well then congrats you'll do great"  I smiled at him..hm could have sworn I saw something on his face....oh well then
-Time skip-
Yin and yang sat near (Y/n) she was washing the dishes with Inaris mom as she cleaned And (y/n) dried them. Sakura was walking around looking at the photo,"um may I ask why is there a torn photo on the wall it's pretty obvious that someone was there inari you were looking at it while eating" (y/n) stopped cleaning as did Inaris mom It was quite for a while,"that's my husband""in these lands they called him a hero""(y/n) is something wrong.....what happened to him?" Mark question obviously not knowing about the story of how Inaris dad was a hero yin and yang got up walking to Mark with dipped heads they grabbed Marks little hands with their mouths leading him to the room to go and sleep. (Y/n) set the plate down already knowing the tragic story of Inaris step dad. She walked to inari she picked him up wrapping his legs around her torso as his arms went around her neck hiding his face from everyone small sniffles was heard from the young child, she walked out of the room with a worried face for inari rubbing his back,"father you know you're not supposed to talk about him in front of inari!" Following behind.
