Chapter 23 - Rusty

Dumating na din si Sir Rusty from Antarctica after ng kanyang expedition...

Pagdating namin sa mansion nila Sage, napuna ko na agad na may kakaiba kay Sir Rusty. Ilang linggo din siyang wala dahil pumunta siya sa Himalayas mountains at sa South Pole.

"It seems na sa isang lugar sa Antarctic mountain ranges naganap ang visions niyo ni Quinn," sabi ni Sir Rusty.

"Any idea kung anong laman ng cave?" tanong ni Sage na nakatitig lang sa kanyang tatay.

"That cave is no longer existing. It was heavily damaged by an avalanche a few years ago. But I was able to find out more about the medallions. Quinn sent me these pictures from the Aztec temple ruins in Mexico. My colleagues have a pretty good theory about this."

Pinakita sa amin ni Sir Rusty ang ilang mga colored pictures from the temple. It looks like an Egyptian hieroglyphics pero may pictures ng four medallions.

The first picture looks like a coffin with four slots as if designed para mag fit ang medallions. The second one is a drawing of several horned monsters, parang mga legion of demons. The third picture is blurred, but it looks like a woman covered with darkness.

"These ancient writings clearly depict that an evil powerful creature is being confined inside this mysterious coffin. These demons, para silang naghahasik ng lagim. They are killing people and burning villages. We think they are trying to obtain the medallions to free their master. This is consistent with an ancient Mayan lore about a powerful demon trapped in darkness for eternity," paliwanag ni Sir Rusty.

"Rusty, you have done more than enough to help us. We will take it from here. Just keep me posted if something important comes up. Sa ngayon, mag pahinga ka muna, babalik uli ako bukas. Kami na bahala ni Rei," sagot ni Sage at nagpaalam na kay Sir Rusty.

Tahimik ako sumunod kay Sage sa kotse. Si Sage din ay walang kibo na nagdridrive.

"Sage... Have you felt it?" mahina kong tanong sa kanya nang makarating kami sa bahay.

"Rusty probably encountered several demons in Antarctica and they possessed Rusty, but I think he is not aware that there are demons residing inside him. It only means that Rusty must have discovered something else."

"Tingin mo sinundan ng demons si Sir Rusty para malaman ang balak natin?"

"I think so. I am glad walang nabanggit si Rusty na nasa atin ang medallions."

"Sage, wala akong alam about exorcism. I am worried about Sir Rusty, pero I am afraid na the moment we let him know that there are demons possessing him, the demons will hurt him."

"Me too. Hindi ko din alam kung paano mag rereact kanina. I will talk to Silawin. I am sure he encountered a demon before or similar creatures."

Unlike before na vampire si Sir Rusty, ngayon isa na siyang tao and he is vulnerable. Matagal na nakasama ni Sage si Sir Rusty kaya alam ko na nag-aalala siya dito. Isang tunay na ama at kaibigan ang turing niya dito.
