Chapter 57 - White Desert

From Alexandria, we used Rave's private plane to Cairo, pero kailangan namin magbyahe papunta sa White Desert sa Western Desert of Egypt. Kasama ko sa sasakyan si Uncle Syl at si Quinn, while Sage is with Phoebe and Rave.

Kung walang kasama si Alastair, it is possible to defeat him dahil madami kami at nag-iisa lang siya. Naunang tumigil ang sasakyan nila Rave at sa bandang unahan nila, andoon si Alastair, sakay ng isang camel na parang nagtotour sa kalagitnaan ng White Desert.

Mabilis na tumilapon si Quinn at Si Uncle Syl, pero mabilis din sila nakarecover bago sumasadsad sa white sands ng desert. I noticed that Sage is about to attack Alastair pero pinigilan siya ni Rave. Kung bakit niya ginawa yun, isang palaisipan sa akin.

Bumaba sa camel si Alastair which only means that he is now serious. He pulled out his Angelus which looks like a black glowing sword na pinapalibutan ng dark aura. Alastair tried to hit Quinn and Uncle Syl using his blacksword at walang silang choice kundi mag change into defense position.

For seconds, I can hear their swords clanging, isang endless sword fight between a powerful demon at sa dalawang Alagad ni Bathala. Para akong na starstruck sa laban nila. Slowly, their sword strikes became faster. Para tuloy ako nanunuod ng sword fight ng tatlong ninja warriors sa mundo ni Naruto.

I know there is something wrong dahil biglang lumabas si Toothless mula sa medallion and I think the white dragon is about to protect me from an imminent danger. Without thinking twice, I drew my Angelus at mabilis na tumalikod to block an incoming attack coming from my back.

In a blink of an eye, Azalar is there with his black sword. Buti na lang, I was fast enough because he is planning to slice me in half. I jumped back away from him creating a great distance between us and Toothless followed me.

He tried to attack me pero I am always there to deflect his hit. For minutes, we are having an intense sword fight, pero dahil hindi ako sanay gumamit ng sword, I am accessing elementals to hit him. I used maelstroms of fire and even thunderbolts, but Azalar is fast and he can easily avert my attacks.

Sa peripheral vision ko, andoon si Azaroth na nakikipaglaban kay Sage. Phoebe looked at us as if she's afraid that it will be the end of us. Hindi rin siguro niya inaasahan na biglang dadating si Azaroth at Azalar. This is indeed an ambush attack to trap us.

"That man who is with Raviael, he is your husband. Is that right?" tanong ni Azalar sa akin after niya tumalon ng palayo sa akin para di abutan ng ball of icy wind na galing sa kamay ko.

"Chismoso ba talaga ang mga demons?" tanong ko sa kanya as I jumped back away from him. Pareho kami nakatayo sa isang mala giant mushroom rock formation.

"Let us not waste our energy. I am not here to fight you," nakangiting sabi ni Azalar.

"And you are here because?"

"To warn you..."

"To warn me about what?"

"That you will soon lose your husband," natatawa niyang sabi pero bigla niya tinago ang sword niya as if he is declaring our fight is over.

"Nakita na ni Sage ang sinasabi mo and I will do anything para protektahan siya. I will not let him die."

"And did you see what will happen next? That he will soon reanimate as our king, our demon king."

Kung ano man confidence na meron ako sa mga oras na yun ay naglaho sa sinabi ni Azalar.

Gusto ba ni Lilith na maging demon king si Sage? At alam ba ni Sage na posibleng mangyari ito?

"Oh you didn't know? He didn't tell you?"

"I won't let that happen Azalar. Sage is not..."

Di ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko dahil naalala ko kung paano maging itim ang mga mata ni Sage noon.

Is he telling the truth?

"Reichel, I admire your fighting skills and how well you can control your white dragon, but you are still young and weak. We should continue our fight once you are strong enough to match me."

Bago pa ko makasagot, Azalar suddenly vanished into a black smoke. Natanaw ko din sa malayo na tumigil si Quinn at Uncle Syl sa pakikipaglaban at naglaho din si Alastair. 

When I looked at Rave's direction, andoon si Azaroth with another silver haired guy.

Pero hindi ko nagulat na buhay na ang pang-apat na general ni Lilith. Nagulat ako nang makita ko na nasa balikat niya ang walang malay na si Sage.

I was about to run towards them pero biglang silang naglaho kasama si Sage...
