Chapter 76 - Demon Attack

Paano ko makapagrerelax kung may legions ng demons na susugod dito? Masyado ko careless dahil nagtiwala na naman ako kay Sage.

"May problema ba?" tanong ni Sage habang pababa ng hagdan.

"Reichel it's useless to fight back, I already won."

"Then I will die fighting, pero wag ka mag-alala, isasama kita sa hukay ko."

At iyon ang huli ko sinabi kay Sage bago ko siya iniwan. Mabilis na nag materialize si Toothless at sumunod sa akin palabas ng mansion ni Matthias. Bukas pa makakarating si Uncle Syl at si Quinn. Si Rave naman ay matatagalan pa. I wonder if this is my last day on earth.

It only took me a few minutes to reach the subdivision entrance. Walang tao dahil konti lang ang bahay dito sa subdivision at bagong gawa pa lang.

Nakita ko na agad si Alastair kasama ang dalawang babae na malamang ay dark witches at dalawa pang lalake na malamang ay mga demon warlocks. Ang dark witches ay may kapangyarihan ng Punong Babaylan but they sold their soul to demons to be more powerful.

Lima sila against me pero na sa akin pa din ang advantage. The barrier will serve as my protection, my defensive shield and yet I can attack them freely.

Nagsimula mag cast ng enormous black ball of lightning ang mga warlocks na nagpayanig sa barrier, samantalang ang mga dark witches ay nirereverse ang barrier spell. Even Alastair is hitting the barrier with his Angelus and every strike is creating a small crack on the barrier.

I tried to focus all my energy sa isang demon warlock. I casted a white lightning ball and I hurled it towards Toothless na biglang napalibutan ng lighting bolts. Mabilis ko naman inutusan na atakihin ni Toothless ang isang warlock.

Within seconds, kinagat ni Toothless ang warlock sa leeg and the lightning bolts consume him. As expected, sumabog ang warlock na parang isang high explosive grenade which greatly damaged the barrier. I used the same technique on the second warlock at mabilis din itong nag-explode.

I was about to smile dahil sa tagumpay ko pero ilang horned demons ang nagmaterialize. More than fifty baphomet-like demons suddenly appeared. Akala ko tatlo na lang ang kalaban ko pero biglang may sumulpot na mga demons.

"Getting cocky Reichel? You can't defeat us, nag-iisa ka lang," nakangiting sabi ni Alastair.

Kaya pala relax lang si Alastair habang binabasag ang barrier, madami pala siya kampon na kasama. Long range attack will take awhile at di pa masyado nakakarecover ang power ko after the two deadly blow with the warlocks so I attempted to use the Angelus.

This time, I will try a close combat.

Naglakas loob ako lumabas ng barrier using my teleportation skill and I used the Angelus to slice these goat like demons. Parang appear, slice, disappear then teleport. The demons can't locate me kung saan ako next na mag-aappear dahil na din sa bilis ko.

I almost killed half of these baphomet demons when I felt that the first layer of the barrier collapsing.

"We are almost done, Reichel" sigaw ni Alastair.

"They are just outside the gate, Reichel Amber. Why don't you just give me up? I told you, hindi magtatagpo ang landas natin."

"You really don't know how to shut up Sage," galit kong sabi sabay labas ng Angelus.

Pero di ko na pinatulan si Sage at hinarap ang ilang demons na nasa labas ng gate. Nang medyo nakarecover na ang power ko, I created a dark cloud na nagpaulan ng thunderbolts at icy storm sa mga demons.

Isang spell na area ang damage na nagwipe out sa lahat ng baphomet demons, but it also consumed a great amount of my power kaya napaluhod ako sa pagod. I feel so tired na para gusto kong matulog na lang.

My only hope is last barrier that I raised inside the house, my last defense.
