Chapter 38 - Boss is Back

Dalawa lang ang buhay namin ni Sage. Office during weekdays at supernatural hunting during weekends. And I hate to admit na nag-eenjoy na ako sa ganitong buhay basta kapiling si Sage.

"So... nasa vacation nga si Super Boss Rave?" tanong ko kay Timothy.

Pagbukas ng elevator, lumabas ang aming big boss na si Rave Clifford, together with Phoebe Wilson and some managers. Nag-iikot sila sa floor namin na parang mga haciendero na tinitignan ang kanilang nasasakupan na lupain.

"Bakit ka nakayuko diyan sa ilalim bes?" tanong ni Timothy.

"May kinukuha lang ako sa ilalim na drawer..."

"Utot mo, nagtatago ka kay Super Boss Rave noh?"

"Bakit naman ako magtatago?" palusot ko kay Timothy, kunwari may kinukuha na stappler sa drawer.

I am requesting a short meeting with you to discuss some issues regarding our research and development team in Antarctica. It has come to our attention that our business competitors are after our four enterprises. They are also planning to unleash a new and powerful innovation that the world has never seen before, an avant-garde software called Lilith.

I have already seen their actual hostile takeover with other companies and I would be very much willing to provide assistance and new insight regarding this matter. Kindly confirm your available days and I will adjust accordingly. This meeting is the utmost priority of our business.

"Antarctica huh? Baka new projects ni Sir Rave yan."

"Weird, never heard about a software called Lilith."

"Ahh baka nga. Anyway, bes, ikaw na bahala sa asawa mo. Half day ako ngayon at naka leave ako for few days dahil ooperahan si Francis sa gall bladder."
