Chapter 33 - Death

After matapos ang wedding event, bumalik na ang mga guests sa kanilang mga suites. Nagbihis lang kami ni Sage ng casual na damit at derecho na agad kami sa suite ni Quinn.

"Do you have the medallions with you?" tanong ni Quinn sa amin. He seemed uneasy as if something is bothering him.

"Nasa secret room ni Uncle Syl ang mga medallions. I casted a concealment spell para hindi sila matagpuan. How about the yellow one?"

"It is still safe in the headquarters," sabi ni Quinn and he asked as to sit on the sofa beds.

"Why are we here Joaquin? May problema ba?"

"Isagani, there's something wrong with me. I have better sense of hearing, my cells can regenerate faster and I can run as fast as a cheetah. It is as if my vampiric powers are back but I don't crave for blood."

"And that is the life and death situation that you are talking about?" inis na tanong ni Sage.

I looked at Sage and he does not show any emotions. It is as if he knew exactly what Quinn is talking about.

"Quinn, nangyari na din ito kay Lena before. We had a vision about her and we stopped it from happening. Di ba Sage? Napigilan natin noon si Lena na patayin ang mga classmates natin?"

"Reichel, I have been seeing the same fucking vision numerous times. Yes, I hope you are right. I hope we can change the outcome."

"I am sure we will find a way to stop this from happening. Safe ang mga medallions. Lilith is still imprisoned. Di ba Sage?"

"Of course..." walang emosyon na sabi ni Sage na nakatitig pa din kay Quinn.

"Sage... you have seen the same vision. Tama ba ako?"

Pero hindi kumibo si Sage. He just looked at me with those penetrating eyes as if wala siyang balak mag-explain any further.

"Tama ba? Nakita mo din kung ano ang nakita ni Quinn?"
