Chapter 43 - Catastrophe

Kaya pala wala si Sir Rave, madalas siyang nagtratravel para maghanap ng ultimate weapon to defeat Lilith. As much as possible, he is trying to limit his power too in case dumating ang araw na makaharap niya si Lilith.

"Bes, nabalitaan mo na ba ang nangyari kaninang umaga?" tanong ni Timothy sa akin sa office. Successful ang operation kay Francis at mabilis siyang nakabalik sa work.

"Anong balita yan bes? Showbiz chismiz?"

"Fucking weird news. Ano ba yan Reichel, di ka updated? Siguro puro ka landi kay Sage ka sa bahay, magbukas ka nga ng social media para may alam kang mga hanashi."

"Ano bang weird news yan?"

"Eto na nga, may earthquake sa Chile at may hurricane sa Florida, sabay na nangyari. These two catastrophes happened at the same time. Earthquake may be unpredictable, pero hello? Hurricane? Biglang susulpot out of nowhere? Nagbubuild-up muna yan bago mag-appear."

"Chile is prone sa earthquake samantalang ang Florida naman prone sa hurricane. This is a sad news indeed dahil marami pa siguro ang naapektuhan."

"Eto pa, may biglaan din na tsunami in Indonesia and a volcanic eruption in Italy. The scientists can't explain the cause of these events dahil wala naman movement sa water in Indonesia at yung volcano sa Italy, hindi naman active."

"Yeah, that's a bit weird."

"And alam mo kung anong weirdest part about these four events? They all happened at the same time. Twelve midnight Greenwich Mean Time or eight in the morning our time."

"Four events?"

"Yeah, sabay sabay ang earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption at hurricane. It was just quick at tumigil bigla. Buti walang casualties."

Earthquake equals earth. Tsunami equals water. Volcanic eruption equals fire. Hurricane equals wind. 

Four events, four medallions, four demon generals.

"Uhmmm Tim, excuse me lang. I need to go."

"Hoy saan ka pupunta bakla?"

"Pupunta lang ako kay Sage ah? Kapag may naghanap sa akin, sabihin mo babalik agad ako."

Pagpasok ko sa office ni Sage, bigla niyang binaba ang handset ng phone niya and he motioned me to sit.

"Babe, good thing you are here. I was about to call you," sabi niya sa akin.

"Narinig mo ba yung apat na disasters na nangyari at the same time?"

"Yeah. That's the reason why I was about to summon you. Kakatawag lang ni Raviael sa akin. He told me that these are indeed signs that the four generals of Lilith are finally awake."

"Sage, that is not a good news. It only means na malapit nang mabuhay si Lilith. Kahit si Rave, wala siya idea how to stop Lilith this time. He is not powerful enough."

"I told him about Quinn, about his powers. I even contacted Silawin at tulad ng theory ni Quinn, Silawin's power is back. Quinn and Silawin will meet Raviael later tonight. Siguro ibibigay niya yung remaining sword hilt."

"Are you saying na tayong apat ni Quinn at Uncle Syl ang haharap sa four generals ni Lilith. Sage, wala tayo laban sa kanila. Hirap nga tayo sa mga normal na demons lang."

"We need to locate these demon generals before they will be able to find us. We can take them down one by one. Four against one."

"I like your confidence, Sage."

"Raviael is quite confident that we will be able to defeat the demon generals using the medallions. Give the blue medallion to Silawin. Sabi niya, Silawin is destined to have that medallion as he saved Helda. And one more thing..."

"Ano yun?"

"Do you have a memory keeper spell? More like a spell for saving memories in case I lost them?"

"Bakit? Natatakot ka ba na magka-amnesia ka ulit?"

"Di naman kasi I am sure I will go straight back to you," natatawang sabi ni Sage.

"Yeah, may alam ako. You can save part of our memories in a crystal. I will show you how it is done, but you have to do it by yourself and alone."

"Good. Now back to business, can I take my wife for a dinner later?"

"Dinner? Ano meron?"

"Alam ko na you have been having nightmares about Lilith. Gusto ko na mag relax tayo during our dinner. Consider it as a date with your gorgeous husband."

"Makakatanggi pa ba ko?"

"As if naman na kaya mo ko tanggihan. Come here, give your husband a quick kiss bago ka bumaba sa station mo."
