{11} Dinner

Addie's POV

As I'm about to open the door to the restaurant someone comes up from behind and grabs it first, I turn to see who it and smile, so caught off guard that Zach Herron just opened the door for me.  We have been texting a lot the past few weeks but seeing him in person is a whole different story. 

"Thank you" I say trying to sound as normal as possible
After everyone has piled in the restaurant Zach catches back up to me. 

"Nice to finally meet in person he says coming up to my side
"I agree, even tho I love talking through a screen, in person is still much better!" I say a little sarcastically.

Eventually the waiter takes us to our seats.  We're sitting at a big table since there are 8 of us, I'm sitting on one side next to Zach, Jack and Corbyn while London and Haley are next to Daniel and Jonah. 

"Well how are you enjoying LA" Jonah asks
"I just love LA I'm really excited to move!" London says in return
"I'm not" I say
"Oh that's right your still in high school huh" Corbyn says turning to Addie.
"Yep, only a junior and my best friends are leaving me for LA".  I say a little annoyed that I'm being left by them.
"Your the same age as Zach" Daniel says looking up from the menu.
"Actually were only ten days apart" Zach says with a slight laugh

Our group talks for a little longer together just about our families, there tour, and London and Haley's move to LA.  They all seem to be invested into that conversation so I turn to Zach and see he's on his phone, I pull out mine and send a text.

Me: I can see your just as interested in there conversation as I am

I hear the ding on Zach's phone and he looks at me with a grin.

Zach: how could you tell?

He sets his phone down and turns to me.  "So what are you going to do when they leave?"

"I guess find new friends" I say laughing

We talk for a lot longer, just ourselves, finding even more in common and telling funny stories until we have tears from laughing

"What is so funny" London says now listening to our conversation
"Were just talking about the fact that Zach gets to sleep on an air mattress instead of bed" they say calming down a bit
"Maybe if you were born a few years earlier you wouldn't have too" Jonah says grinning at Zach
"Should have thought of that earlier" haley says
"Ya Addie maybe will get you an air mattress to sleep on tonight".
"Dang it Zach... giving them ideas" I say turning to him
"Join the club" he says in return

We both break into more laughter and talking until our food is done and we've paid. 

"Thanks for coming" Daniel says smiling at all of us".
"Ya it was fun to get to know you all" Jonah says staring at Haley.
"Well thank you, deffinilty needs to happen again!" London says with me and haley agreeing.

We say goodbyes and Zach gives me a hug then  we head to our separate cars, while I have the biggest smile on my face.

"K Addie, am I invited to the wedding"  London says as we are driving home
"What wedding?" I ask even tho I already know the answer
"Common Addie it's so obvious you like each other"

I smile to myself hearing that last comment,
"Do you really think he likes me?" I ask wanting an honest opinion
