{15} No Where To Stay

**Jonah's POV**

I woke up this morning with a ton of questions for me about the date.

"How did it go?" "What happened" "are you dating now?"

I slightly laugh realizing all the events that took place.  "Well we had a great time and everything was going as planned until..." I say trying to get my words together at the end

"Until what?" They all ask
"Until a football hit her head as we were walking on the beach, and she fell into the freezing water" I say

"Wow and she still enjoyed it?"  Zach asks
"Ya I mean, it was actually funny and she didn't get too hurt."  I say laughing again
"Geese wish I had girl like that" Jack says making us laugh.
"Wish I had the guts to get a girl like that" Daniel says making us laugh again

  After recalling the events from yesterday I decided it would be best to call Haley back and see if she's alright.  I grab my phone and click on her contact name and it starts ringing.  It rings and rings until the voice mail comes up.

"Hmm she must be busy" I say to myself wondering if I should try again.
Just in that moment I get a call, from Haley.

"Hey!"  I say through the phone

"Hi Jonah, sorry I didn't pick up before"

She sounds really stressed

"Don't worry about it! I just wanted to see if you were alright from last night"

"Oh ya haha, I'm doing good and my headache went away fast"

She sounds a little more like herself after saying that, but I can still tell something is off. 

"Are you ok? Like now?" I ask trying to figure out what's wrong

"Um ya, well I mean kind of stressed but hopefully it will work out"

"Stressed about what though?" I ask generally concerned

At this point I finally get her to tell me everything that's on her mind. 

"Well, we are supposed to switch hotels today because the one we were staying in was booked... but apparently the other one that we had for this next week was overbooked and now they have no room for us at all.  Luckily they are giving us a refund but now we are trying to scramble to find somewhere to stay."

"Are there any other hotels open?" I ask

"That's what we're trying to figure out, all we can find open are the extremely expensive hotels and the really sketchy motels.  Some of them have rooms open in a couple of days, but we're still not sure what to do tonight"

"Wow that's crazy, how can you overbook a hotel room?"

"Idk we thought the same thing, but I've got to go... sorry for ranting all this to you, but it actually felt good to let it out" she says with a laugh

"Anytime. I really mean it!...  I'll call you later"

"Thanks Jonah"

Just as I hang up I walk out to where the boys are sitting in the living room. 
"Just got off the phone with Haley" I say
"Oh ya how's it going?" Corbyn asks me

"Well she's really stressed because there hotel got overbooked for the next week and all the other decent hotels have been too.  There not sure where to stay for a couple of nights" i tell them

"Why Don't they come stay with us?" Zach says
"Well I wanted to tell them that, but not sure if everyone would be ok with it" I say in return
"We've got an extra bedroom" Daniel says
"Ya and it's not like there going to live here" Jack says
"I'm good with it too" Corbyn then says
"Are you guys really sure? They said they can book another hotel in few days, so they may only be here for two nights" I say
"Ya were good! Call them up" Zach says walking into the kitchen

I feel so great that I can help her and her friends out, so I immediately call her back.

"Well hi again" she says through the phone, I can tell she is on the edge of tears from all the stress.

"Good news!" I say

"Ok, what is it?"

"I checked with the boys and we all agreed to letting you stay here, at our house"

"Jonah that is sooo nice of you! But we can't intrude on your life like that"

"Come on haley, you would never be intruding, plus where else would you stay"

"I guess at the motel"

"Umm ya NO I would never let you stay there, you know how many weird people there are"

"Ya I know, that's why I'm so stressed"

"And that's why I invited you to stay here"

"But.."

"Nope your coming here and that is final! I'll text you the address... just tell me when your on your way!"
