The basement was somewhere no one went. You didn't know why, but you didn't question it, either. But one day you saw Namjoon return from the forbidden area.
"Namjoonie, what's down there?" you asked.
Namjoon knew you weren't supposed to go to the basement. After all, there were still guards on the door knob to prevent you from turning it. "Oh nothing."
You wouldn't take nothing as an answer. "Are you lying?"
Namjoon sighed. "It's very scary down there."
Your eyes widened. "What's scary?"
Namjoon grinned. "There's a big monster down there and it's very hard to see, so you don't know when it's coming to get you."
"Really?"
"I wouldn't lie to my baby sis."
And after that, you were terrified of the basement.
