i know
i need to
slow down
and i'm trying.

you think i just want it
to be over
and done with
but it's not that.

because you've never
felt your heart
beat so fast that
you feel like it will
stop
any moment.

do your legs wobble?
and your hands shake?
can you look people in the eye?

(just being here
doing this
is a challenge for me)
