forgiveness / poem

i think it's time to forgive you.
not that you did anything wrong, specifically,
but you were young.
you were scared.
i understand why it happened
and i forgive you.
i am slowly releasing my anger and sadness and i am finally letting flowers grow where it has been dark for two years.

i forgive you.
