Yugi looked back at the door that had just closed, shutting Mana's heels from clicking any longer. He slowly turned back, waiting for his examination to begin.

He still couldn't help but feel a bit nervous.

Yugi mentally sighed, struggling to regain his calm. A true doctor kept his cool in any situation. He kept focused, collected, and always knew what to do in a nerve wracking situation such as this. These words calmed him. He pictured himself a few days from now actually stepping into the hospital, an apprentice of a very good mentor in his own white coat and everything! Seeing patients, knowing the basics of all things surgical.

Being so sophisticated with it all.

He wished that was how he felt. He wished he felt as though he had this in the bag. That he had everything planned out for him.

Until Dr. Sennen turned and faced him, his hands folded neatly under his chin. He had the exact same hair as Yugi himself, but with gold highlights almost streaking the hair on his head. His eyes were a deep crimson that would pierce anyone to look at him and his facial features were muscular and more matured. Unlike Yugi's, being a little more child-ish and younger looking.

He seemed to be a very nice doctor. And if what Mana had said about him was true, then he shouldn't really be this worked up about it. But Yugi wouldn't get his hopes up.

You can't judge a person by his appearance.

But then suddenly, his voice broke the silence, the tone friendly and welcoming.

"Hello Mr. Moto." Dr. Sennen smiled at him, "Shall we begin?"

Yugi sat, staring at him, stunned. He honestly didn't know what to think anymore. He didn't know if this guy was nice or mean or, of all things, a strict doctor. He only heard what he did from Mana and he didn't know if Sennen would be the same way.

It certainly seemed to be true...

But Yugi honestly didn't know how to admit it to himself.

"Uh..." Dr. Sennen's smile faded into a face of confusion as he looked on into Yugi's eyes, "Hello, Mr. Muto?"

Yugi was suddenly snapped out of his confusion when he found a hand being waved in front of his face and interrupting his sight. He slightly shook his head, not believing he had been daydreaming during one of the most important events of his career! He got lost in daydreams during his Entrance Exam! That of all things!!

Okay. Calm down and just...shrug it off, Yugi. Yugi thought, slightly laughing, Just don't do it again.

Yami gave him a goofy smile, slightly chuckling and he leaned back into his chair. He folded his hands once more under his chin and his deep crimson eyes met Yugi's violet ones.

"Ready to begin now?" Yami smirked, reaching for a clipboard.

Yugi sighed. He had gotten this far. He had faced harsh professors that didn't even cracked a smirk in his presence. Once he thought about it, this doctor was friendly. He smiled. He actually made Yugi feel welcome on a level that he hadn't been on for a while. He slowly nodded, slightly relaxing, still remaining alert.

"Yes sir." He said, watching as Yami flipped through the papers on his clipboard.

Yami looked slightly up.

"Sir?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, "Don't be calling me that. I only graduated medical school 2 years ago. It hasn't been long since I was in your place. Now relax."

Yugi nodded slightly.

Yami looked down.

"Now. Let's begin." He said, looking down at the papers, "Question 1: What are you studying, or studIED in?"

Yugi rubbed his chin, squinting one eye closed as he thought.

"I have a major in...Head, neck, chest, and upper body trauma." He replied, "All 4 stages. A minor in amputation of the arms and legs."

Yami nodded, writing as he listened to Yugi's answer to his question. "Question # 2: Where did you study?" He continued, putting down his ink pin and looking back up at Yugi.

"Domino Academy of Surgical Procedures." Yugi answered Yami, watching him scribble again, "DASP."

Yami looked up once he finished writing, his mouth curved into a smile again.

"THE Domino Academy of Surgical Procedures?" He inquired, "The one a few blocks from here??"

Yugi nodded.

"Yeah!" He smiled back, "That one!"

Yami laughed.

"I went there too! Man, what a coincidence!" Yami smiled, "Well what do you know?"

Yugi laughed.

.......Soon Thereafter.......

"Alright!" Yami flipped the papers pack onto the clipboard and looked at Yugi, "Your examination is complete! What a relief too, huh?"

Yugi couldn't help but sigh. He nodded and leaned back into his chair, slightly smiling.

Yami chuckled and stood, flipping through the papers and he stood from his chair.

"Alright. I'm gonna go get your results." He began to head for the door, the clipboard folded underneath his arms, "You just sit right in here until I get back."

Yugi watched him exit, shutting the door behind him and he sighed. He found that quite easy. The questions were really not that hard, some were sorta obvious, and it wasn't hard whatsoever. The best thing about it, however, was the welcoming atmosphere. Sennen was very friendly. Between questions, he would engage in small conversations and speak with him as though he had known him for years.

It made him feel good.

It made him feel welcomed!
