Balloons POV
It was dead in the night. I woke up hearing a knocking at the door. I felt Suitcase sit up, I forgot I ended up crashing in her room by accident. I hesitantly opened my eyes, tired from being woken up so suddenly. My vision was slightly blurry, but I could make our Suitcase standing with a man in blue. I didn't know who it was, but she seemed upset.
"S-Suitcase?" I sat up, stuttering.
"You're awake?.." she sighed.
"Are you named Balloon, sir?" The man, who was a police officer, looked over at me blank faced. I could see Suitcases mom standing behind him.
"Y-yes." I answered, nervous.
"Your parents called saying you were missing. You have to go back to them. Follow me."
I sat there for a second shocked, before shakily getting up.
"I'll... b-bye Suitcase." I hug her, trying not to break down.
"Bye..." she said, looking almost as scared as me. I was rapidly breathing while following the police officer. He didn't seem to notice, or care. I don't want to go back. I really don't want to go back. The cop car outside was oddly colored, or was it the lighting? Who knows.
"Get in the back, kid. You'll be home soon." I shivered at the thought of my parents at home. Mom is going to beat the shit out of me. Maybe Dad, too.
