It had been a week since you left Stark Tower. You were roaming the streets for food, getting harsh flashbacks of your time before Tony. You eventually found a trash can and began to rifle through it for salvageable food.

"Hey, sho you hermit!" A man yelled, and you looked up to see a shoe being thrown at your face. You ducked it and ran in the opposite direction, hearing the man's craziness follow you for plenty more blocks.

You ran until you came upon an empty alley, then flew up into a roof, unnoticed. You landed roughly and just decided to lay there, stomach growling away from hunger. You stared up at the bright sky, and wished to be back at Stark Tower, under the wing of Tony Stark.

You missed him, and even more then usual. You missed how he said goodmorning and goodnight every day, and how he patted your back when you did something he was proud of, and how he smiled at you when you did something right,  whether it was a math equation or you learned a new depth of your power.

Oddly enough, you missed Peter. You kind of missed bickering with him every time you two were in the same room, or how he said goodbye to Tony and only gave you a head nod. You shuddered at the thought, not believing that you could even possibly think about missing that little thing, but yet your heart still ached for him.

While still thinking of him, you decided to tap into his mind to see what was happening. You sat up and focused your mind on only thoughts of Peter. The bickering, the disagreements, the handsome smile, the-the WHAT!

You stumbled back, completely losing focus, blinking rapidly. You begged for your heart to be repulsed, but only a neutral feeling cascaded over you. You stood up straight and tried to focus again.

The bickering, the fighting, the training room, the way his hair flows so perfectly-NO! You shook your head rapidly, hair flying in your face. You do not find him attractive, (Y/N)! Now focus!

And, for the rest of the day you kept on trying, but to no avail. You grunted in frustration and knocked over a barrel with your powers, feeling the red zip through your arm and out your palm.

It was completely dark, and you had gotten absolutely no where with Peter's mind, and had gotten no food. You sighed and laid down on the roof, staring up at the stars in hopes to just fall asleep and forget today. Forget Peter and everything he was making you feel.

Right as your eyes began to close with a slow blink, you saw something dart across the night sky. You reopened your eyes and sat up, looking around the sky, but seeing nothing. You huffed in annoyance and laid back down, but this time, hear a noise.

You popped only one eye open, and saw a bright beam of light dart across your vision. It was tiny, but just noticeable. You instantly sprung up, knowing what it was. The Iron Man suit.

The suit was soaring around, probably without anyone in it, exhaust spluttering from its feet. You watched as it created a sentence in the sky, and specifically for you.

Come home pumpkin

"Tony." You mumbled, tears evading your vision. You sniffed and rubbed them away so you could see the message clearly again.

Did Tony really want you back? Of course he wouldn't, you're dangerous. You shook your head and looked down, letting the message fade away.

Meanwhile, Tony was flying around in his suit, scanning the area for you, but to no avail. With a huff of frustration, he traveled closer down to the buildings, but still, nothing.

"I'll find you, pumpkin." He said to no one in particular. "And I'm gonna bring you back home to me."

You woke up in the early hours upon hearing a siren. You sat up groggily and rubbed your eyes, adjusting to the new faint light. You groaned and stretched, really starting to feel the pavement every night on your back.

The siren sounded louder. You stood up, now fully awake, and walked over to the edge of the building, looking down all of the stories and to the ground floor in curiosity.

You saw a police car zooming away, swerving to get around cars. You pondered to where he was going, then immediately ripped out of the question when the police car faded out of sight, but got tossed back by a powerful source.

You gasped in shock and leaned even more over the edge to see a person, about the average size, walking down in the middle of the street. It was a man in a ball cap with jeans and a tight fit shirt. He moved his arm up and made his hand into a fist, which you saw impossibly as the police car crushed.

How was he doing that? Is he a reject of HYDRA too?

When taking a closer look, you realized his hat scrawled over the top said HYDRA.

You took a step back in shock and put a hand over your heart. The people you had been running from were here, and could possibly be here to take you. You didn't know what to expect, so you geared up your powers and waited.

And waited. And waited.

Your heart had tugged for Tony, and surprisingly Peter, but no one showed up, even as the man was causing destruction. You decided that you had no other choice, and hopped down, using your powers to make sure that you would land safely.

You landed without the man noticing you, and stayed hidden so you could do a surprise attack. You swirled red between your fingers, volleying from one hand to the other. You geared yourself up, cracking your neck and shaking away the nerves eating away at you. You had never attacked anyone in years, and this was a new feeling, an unwanted one. And you had no one by your side to help you.

You bounced from leg to leg, trying to make the jitters go away, but they stayed and you had no more time left. You moved out of your hiding spot and pointed your palm to the enemy, but then you saw a web stick to his chest. You gasped and hid behind the building again, not wanting Peter to see you.

You heard a grunt of effort and peered out to see Peter holding back his attached webs to the man, trying to get him to not move. He was losing energy fast, and felt as if you had to do something. But when you decided to, the moment was up, and Peter flung across the road, completely airborne.

He hit the ground with a hard thud and you winced, not knowing if he was gonna get up from that blow. But nevertheless, he did, and bounced from leg to leg. "Come at me, man! I could do this all day!" He yelled, and you rolled your eyes. Peter was always up for a fight, and you hadn't forgotten that, nor that he chose to pick on people thrice his size.

You still stood completely hidden, watching the two go at one another. And soon enough, you knew that Peter needed your help. You hoped that someone would come, Tony probably, and help him, but it was just him. But you knew that Tony only helped once he got pulled in, he never really involved himself, and Peter hadn't called him.

The man whipped Peter down the street and against a wall that lead down to the subway. He fell and cradled his head, and you knew that something was wrong. The man walked over steadily to the shaking boy on his knees, who was completely oblivious.

Deciding it was now or never, you sprinted out of your hiding spot and stood in front of Peter, blocking his view of the man.
