Chapter 17

*The Next Day*

Diannes POV

I walked to school on my own this morning, however since Joe had my glasses and I knew I had to wear them today, my vision wasnt the best. However I made it to school quite easily, and Joe greeted me at the gate.
"Put these on." He smirked, handing me the glasses. I put them on and looked at him.
"I can see now, but have you done anything?"
"Camera in the lens." He smirked. "Already recording. Come little red, lets burn the bitch down." He laughed a little, putting his arm around round my waist. He seemed to be going back to his older ways, however I knew he could control it, and I would snap him out of it if I needed to. We walked over to the boys and smiled.
"Since when have you had glasses red?" Caspar asked.
"For a while now." I giggled. I saw Melony walk over and rolled my eyes, Joes arm tightening round my waist, holding me closer. She walked over, smiling at everyone, winking at Joe before giving me a sneer.
"Dianne, may I talk to you?" She asked in a sickly sweet tone. I looked up at Joe and he nodded.
"Sure." I smiled. We walked into the building. This could be my one shot at getting her caught. She looked around before punching my lip, making it bleed.
"I told you to break up with him."
"I told you I wouldnt!"
"Then stay still, this will hurt." She snarled, and before I could get myself out her way she kicked my side, knocking me down.
"Shouldve listen to me red. If you tell any of your friends this was me, youll be lucky if you see them again." She spat before walking off. I sniffed, tears rolling down my cheeks as I could taste the blood on my tongue. I forgot all about the footage that my glasses wouldve recorded, I was more focused on getting myself cleaned up. I pulled myself up and began to walk to the bathroom before-
"Dianne!" I heard my name being called over and over. I froze, knowing the boys were running over. I looked down, Joe standing in front of me. He tilted my head up, seeing my lip bleeding badly, and could see the footprint left on me from when Melony was kicking me.
"What did she do...?" He snapped, walking me to the bathroom, not caring that he wasnt allowed in the girls bathroom. No one was in there anyway. He got some tissue and began wiping the blood off my lip.
"I knew I shouldnt have let her go off with you." He whispered, kissing my forehead.
"Can I see where she kicked you....?" He asked gently. "I want to see if theres any bruising."
I nodded and took off my blazer, untucking my shirt and lifting it up. Already there were red marks which you could tell would bruise badly.
"Oh Di...." He cooed, putting my shirt down and hugging me gently. "Go to tutor, Ill text the boys what happened. At break we go to the library and use the computers to transfer the footage and Ill put it on my phone, then we go to the head teacher's office and show him." He smiled, giving me my blazer. I slipped it on and we parted ways to walk to tutor. I walked in and sat down, Oli looking at me with concern.
"You okay?" He asked and I nodded.
"I will be." I said softly, all of us getting registered. I just needed to get through first and second period before we could have this bitch expelled.

*2 hours later*

Joes POV

Saying I was disgusted was an understatement. That girl thought she had the right to put her dirty paws on Dianne and get away with it. Trust me, no one is going to get away with it.

The two of us walked out of English and towards the library, my hand holding onto hers tightly. We sat down by one of the computers and I took the glasses. I unwired it, taking the memory card and connecting it to the computer, smiling as the footage showed up. I managed to transfer it onto my phone. I gave Dianne the glasses back which were back to normal and she put them on.
"Ready?" I asked, smirking as she nodded.
"Ready as ill ever be." She whispered, standing up and taking my hand.
"Lets go then." I said, slipping my phone into my pocket.
