*Saturday Morning*

Diannes POV

I had to get up early, showering and getting changed into leggings and a hoodie with my name on the back. I sat in my room, putting my hair up into a high ponytail. I heard a knock at the door and smiled.
"Come in." I said softly, Joe walking in, sitting down next to me.
"Nice jacket."
"I know." I chuckled, leaning against him a little.
"Whens Oli coming?"
"About 8." I said softly, smiling up at him. Not long after there was a knock at the door.
"Right, lets go." I smiled, grabbing my bag, taking Joes hand and walking downstairs.
"Hey guys." Oli smiled when we walked out, the three of us walking to his car and getting in the back.
"Hey Di, how are you sweetie?" Olis mum asked.
"Im good, how are you?" I smiled.
"Im fine, and how are you Joe?"
"Im alright." He smiled, holding onto my hand.

It took about half an hour to get to the competition, where we met the boys outside. Joe, Oli, Olis mum and I walked backstage to my dressing room.
"Heres your costume sweetie." She handed the bag to me and I went behind the curtain to change. It was a peachy pink outfit with a black sewn on belt around the middle.
"Its gorgeous." I smiled, showing them.
"Wow...." Joe whispered, walking over and hugging me. I smiled and hugged him tightly before hugging Olis mum.
"Thank you." I said softly.
"No problem, now Im going to go find your friends." She said, leaving the dressing room.

I ran through my routine a couple times, making sure that I remembered it all.
"Dianne, youre up next." Someone came into my dressing room and I nodded.
"Right, lets go." I smiled, walking with Oli to one wing on the side of the stage, Joe stood on the other side waiting for when my solo finished. The judges introduced my onto the stage. I took a deep breath and walked on, taking my starting position.

The whole thing went past like a blur. It was a flurry of tricks and spins. I finished, smiling brightly before walking off stage. I jumped into Joes arm, being spun round.
"Baby that was amazing!" He smiled, putting my down. Oli soon walked over, hugging me.
"Still just as good." He smiled.

We waited until everyone had danced before we all got called onto the stage for our awards. It soon got to the solos in my age division and I couldn't sit still.
"And first place....Dianne Buswell."
I smiled, standing up and thanking the host, taking the throphie before turning to the crowd, everyone applauding before everyone went off stage. I walked into my dressing room, Joe picking me up.
"Im so proud of you!" He smiled and put me down. I held the trophie close, getring hugs from the rest of the boys.
"Oh Andrew is going to be so proud of you." Joe whispered, kissing my cheek. I smiled and hugged him tighter.
"Ill tell him when we get home." I said quietly, all of us making our way outside when we collected everything.

Oli's mum drove me and Joe home, thanking her before walking in.
"How was your day guys?" Joe's mum asked when we walked in.
"I got first!" I smiled and she came over to congratulate me.
"Thats amazing darling." She smiled and I nodded. "Anyway, I must get back to cooking." She smiled and I nodded, carrying my trophie to my room, placing it with the rest. I grabbed my phone, messaging my brother.

Dianne: Guess who got first place?
Andrew: You?
Dianne: Yep!!
Andrew: So proud of you! Mum would be proud.
Dianne: I know she would.

I put my phone down, wiping my eyes. Even though it was years ago, whenever I bring up my mum I still cry. I couldnt help it. Joe soon walked in, seeing me crying.
"Nope." He picked me up, wiping my eyes. "No Diannes shall be upset in the Sugg household." He smiled, walking to his room, sitting down on his bed with me on his lap.
"Youre sweet." I sniffled, wiping away a couple tears.
"I know I am." He said cheekily, pulling me in for a short kiss since his lip still hurt a little.
"How are the cuts on your stomach?" I asked.
"They dont hurt as much, however if I put pressure on them they begin to hurt." He said softly and I nodded, wrapping my arms around him gently. I was about to say something before his mum called us downstairs for dinner.
