Chapter 62

*A few months later*

*Saturday Morning*

Diannes POV

The weather had finally begun to pick up, being less rainy and more sunny. I smiled, resting my head on Joes chest while he slept. It was early morning, around 8am, so I didnt plan on getting out of bed until I needed. We were all heading over to Joshs later, having a mini pool party since it was only us. I smiled, Joe slowly waking up.
"Hey Joe." I smiled.
"Hey baby." He said, kissing my forehead. He rolled onto his side, wrapping his arms round my waist, holding me close to him. "What time did Josh say to go over?"
"2." I said, going to sit up before Joe pulled me back down.
"I wanna cuddle." He muttered in a cute tone, making me giggle.
"Okay fine, I guess we can have a few minute cuddling." I said, curling up in his arms, feeling me play with the ends of my hair, sending me back into a dreamless sleep.

Jacks POV

I was already up, playing with Anna downstairs. Conor was still asleep and AJ was in my room sleeping.
"Jacky Jacky, can AJ come play with us?"
"I think hes asleep Anna." I smiled at my sister. "We can go see if hes awake." I smiled, standing up. She walked towards my room, quietly opening it. I smiled softly, seeing AJ fast asleep, curled up under the duvet.
"Hes sleeling." She whispered, making sure I stayed quiet. I crept over to the bed and sat down, AJ rolling over, opening his eyes.
"Morning sleeping beauty." I smiled, seeing him blush a little. "Sleep well?"
"Yeah." He said sitting up, Anna climbing onto the bed. "Hey Anna."
"Hey AJ." She smiled sweetly. "I was wondering if you wanted to come play with me and Jacky."
"Of course." He smiled and got up. I think Anna loved him more than me. Im just kidding, thats impossible.

Laurens POV

"IM GOING OUT!" I yelled.
"Lauren get back here!" My mum yelled, however I had already left the house, slamming the door behind me. I put my headphones on, slinging my bag onto my back before jogging to Joshs house. I was staying over after the party, so I had things Id need in my bag as well as swim stuff. My mum was going to kill me however Id just argue back if I had to. She knows Im not my sister and I dont understand why she just cant expect that. I slowed to a stop before walking up to Joshs front door, taking off my headphones and knocking. His mum opened the door and smiled.
"Hey Lauren." She said, letting me in, giving me a quick hug. "Josh is out by the pool setting up. Go get changed then head outside, Ill let him know youre here." She said before walking off. I walked up to Joshs room, putting my bag on his bed before getting changed into my swimming costume, putting my hair into a high ponytail before grabbing my towel and walking outside. I squealed, feeling a water balloon hit my back. I turned round, Josh laughing a little.
"Hey." He said, walking over, giving me a sweet kiss.
"Hi." I smiled up at him, letting him take my towel and lay it down on one of the sunbeds. "What time are the others getting here?"
"I said for them to get here around 2 so we had time to set things up. Also we need to get the water balloons ready." He said and I nodded, following him to the outside tap, filling up the small balloons with water before handing them to Josh who tied them up, putting them in a large bucket. Today was going to be good.

Joes POV

I put my shirt on, walking to Diannes room and knocking.
"Can I come in?"
"Yeah." She called. I walked in, seeing her in shorts and a t shirt.
"You ready?" I asked, wrapping my arms round her.
"Yeah." She smiled, leaning up and kissing me gently. I smiled kissing back, holding her close before she pulled away.
"We gotta go or were going to be late." She giggled. I nodded, waiting for her to put her shoes on before taking her hand.

On the way to Joshs Dianne mentioned a race, and the loser had to get thrown into the pool. I won, Dianne frowning.
"A bet is a bet." I said as I knocked on Joshs door. We waited a moment before Joshs mum opened the door.
"Good to see you two." She smiled, letting us both in. We walked out back, seeing everyone already there.
"Last like normal." Conor joked, throwing a water balloon at Dianne, the red head squealing.
"Hey!" She laughed, running to the bucket and taking one of the balloons out, throwing it at Conor before using me as a shield so the next one Conor threw hit me. Before we knew it everyone was involved in the water balloon fight, music playing in the background. It was everyone for themselves, however Dianne seemed to have a tactic of hiding behind so she wouldnt get hit. I smirked, sneaking up behind her and picking her up.
"No!" She squealed. "Put me down!"
"Okay." I smirked, throwing her into the pool. She surfaced seconds later.
"JOE!" She yelled, making me laugh before someone pushed me in. I looked up, AJ standing on the edge of the pool. He dived in, everyone else following after him.

AJs POV

I smiled, getting on Jacks shoulders as Dianne got on Joes and Lauren got on Joshs. We were all trying to push each other off, Lauren and I teaming up on Dianne, pushing her off Joes shoulders before I pushed Lauren off Josh.
"Whos the best couple now!" Jack laughed as I got off his shoulders.
"Joanne!" Oli yelled, making us all laugh. Dianne and Lauren soon got out, laying down on their sunbeds, letting themselves dry off. I smiled, swimming over to Jack, kissing him gently. He kissed back, pulling me closer
"Get a room!" Josh scoffed.
"Is your room okay?" Jack smirked, the boys laughing.
"Funny." He laughed before getting out, sitting down on his sunbed.

We were all happy for once. Nothing was going wrong.
