12:39am

Caleb ended up getting home around 11:40 am. There had been no sight of Minho when he had arrived. So he took the opportunity to take a nap.

Except ... he didn't expect to sleep the whole day and wake up a little after midnight.

He also didn't expect to hear a choked moan in the room next to his.

He furrowed his brows. And he knew he shouldn't be trying to listen but he was curious:

Did his boyfriend bring someone home?

Just thinking about it angered Caleb a bit (even though he went and slept with his boyfriend's brother) And he was about to storm out of his room and barge into the other's. But then he heard another moan.

"Oh fuck ... Caleb I'm gonna-" he was cut off a throaty groan. And Caleb couldn't help but to blush a bit.

The older must've thought that he was alone.

Which was explainable. Caleb didn't leave his shoes at the front door like he usually did. Instead, he took the extra second to put them in the closet at the entrance.

And he didn't have his music playing in the background like he usually did when he slept.

So, Minho must've thought he was alone. Which explained why he was being so loud. Or at least... not discreet.

Caleb heard shuffling in the older's room followed by the door opening. Caleb decided to stay put though. Just for a few more seconds. And then when he heard the water running in the kitchen, he waited a few more minutes before exiting his own room.

He sleepily entered the kitchen, running a hand through his hair and yawning.

Minho turned around and looked the younger up and down before turning off the water and putting the (now full) kettle onto the stove and turning the burner on.

"I didn't know you were home."

"Yeah. Well sorry for not being loud and obnoxious everywhere I go." The younger snapped, opening the fridge.

Caleb still wasn't sure if he should tell Minho - he wasn't sure how he'd take it.

Earlier ... or yesterday when he had met up with Andrew, he hadn't expected to be asked out.

Especially because he rarely knew the guy.

He also didn't expect to be told that it would all just be a ploy.

Caleb had understood because the younger had explained it to him -

His parents were in town. And they had insisted on staying at his place even though he had told him that his boyfriend lived with him and didn't like visitors.

Family or not.

So, the plan would be simple.

His parents would be over for a week and a half. Caleb would have to 'live with him' for that week and a half.

He'd still be free to see Minho and work and stuff like that. But while he was there, he'd have to ... well ... pretend to be annoyed. Which wasn't hard.

But Caleb didn't expect things to begin so soon.

Today was the day his parents were coming. Around 12pm.

Now, Caleb would always just leave and not say anything. But Minho wasn't stupid.

He'd know something was off the second day.

Minho rolled his eyes and then stared at the younger as he took a drink from his bottle of water. And he couldn't help but to watch his Adam's apple move as he drank. Or the way his neck looked so .... biteable.

He gulped and then looked away, suddenly finding his toes more interesting.

"Are you still mad at me?" The older enquired.

Caleb removed the bottle from his lips and looked over at his boyfriend.

Was he still mad?

He couldn't really be mad at Minho. Not really. He was a vampire. And vampires bit.

That was like getting mad at a cat or dog for biting you instinctually.

They can't help it. It's instinct. Similar to how Minho bites people.

You don't yell or hit them. You simply train them to not bite you. Instead, offer them other options.

Of course that'd be a bit harder with Minho because he wasn't an animal. But you get the idea.

"Not really. I understand that you didn't mean to do what you did."

"So you forgive me?"

"Forgive you? Yes. Trust you? Not really."

Minho nodded. "Understandable. I'm sorry."

"It's okay, baby." The younger cooed before placing his bottle of water on the counter and nearing the older. He put his hands on his sides and leaned in to him, looking up at him.

"You're still handsome though. And you have a nice personality. You might be able to win my trust back." He winked.
