Edited my dudes ✌️

They arrive at the precinct, the old aged building to which looked over the thriving city yet to wake up. Several reporters had already gathered outside, waiting for them like vultures to dying prey.

God damnit.

Jimin really wasn't in the mood to talk to these blood sucking vampires. He could only take so much in one day, and the press were something he wasn't ready to deal with so early in the day.

"Even at five in the morning they're still here to make our lives hell." Hoseok groans at the sight, he to held the same thoughts towards them. Reporters could either be your best allies or your worst enemy-there wasn't an in between.

"Like sharks to water, just keep swimming till they find something good." Jimin composes himself best he can, making sure he looks presentable before getting out the car to meet the swarm.

"I don't understand how they found out so quickly? We only just discovered the body a few hours ago." Hoseok exclaims dumbfounded as to how they always seem to be a step ahead of them.

They begin making their way towards the mob of reporters, gearing up to have to push past them in order to get inside where it was safe from their prying eyes and pointed questions.

"People talk Hoseok, this isn't exactly a quiet neighbourhood. Plus, he was found in a extremely public place, where everyone could see. Not every day a bunch of police all meet up in the early morning at a family park." Jimin points out, reporters just seem to find a way to be one step ahead of them.

Once they reach the entrance of what Jimin likes to call his second home, they're bombarded with questions, theories, accusations of who might of done it.

Barely giving the two young detectives time to breath let alone think.

"Do you know the name of the man found yet?"

"Do you have reason to believe it was the man who found the body?"

"Any leads as to who might of done it?"

"Do you think we will see more murders like this?"

"Why do you think they chose the park?"

Question after question were thrown at them, flashes of cameras and the butt of microphones aggressively pushed towards them.

Jimin knows they don't have a lot to go on, simply just trying to fish for a story. Hunt around until the catch something be it either a snack or a full meal.

Although he knows he will need to use them eventually, when he needs to use the public. Right now however, they're more trouble than they're worth.

"Right now, we do not have any thing to comment. This is still an open investigation, we are doing everything we can to find the killer and bring them to justice. If we find anything of significance to the public, you'll be the first to know. Now please move away from the station, we still have jobs to do." With that Jimin walks into the station, pleased with himself for shutting down all their questions.

"Wow! You handled that amazingly Jimin, you totally showed them who's boss." Hoseok couldn't deny he was impressed, Jimin shut them down so slyly it took barely a minute.

Jimin slides him a cocky grin. Hoseok was always there, cheering him on, his unannounced cheerleader who would always have his back.

When they enter the sanctuary of their office, Jimin slumps down at his cluttered desk which homed piles upon piles of heavy files and unfinished reports. Exhausted from all he has done, it's barely gone five and he's already been a wake three hours.
