Here's a new chapter, sorry it's been a while since I updated, I've been planning out the next few chapters of this story plus I've been working on my new story Goddess of fire and the will fox.

Kol's pov

Me and Davina arrive at the plantation, opening the front door and walking straight in. I roll my eyes as I hear Klaus screaming his head off "she has ruined everything! Now I will never get my city back and Marcel will send his vampires after Hayley!" He rants Davina scoffs and storms straight into the living room where he was ranting. He turns to her and glares at her "you have some nerve showing your face here after what you did!" He yells pissing me right off "hey back off don't talk to her like that!" I snap he scoffs "I'll talk to her however I want since she screwed up everything!" He yells "oh just give it a rest and listen" Davina snaps "I don't want to listen to anything you say. Elijah has gone out there to negotiate a new deal with Marcel because of what you did!" He spat pointing at her. Davina rolls her eyes "Marcel and his vampires won't get anywhere near Hayley that I can assure you. I killed most of his vampires yesterday and the rest that remain are scared of me so they won't try anything and if Marcel has even half of a brain then he'll leave Hayley and you lot alone!" she exclaims Klaus scoffs. "He's stubborn and he won't give up without a fight" he responds "well it will be a fight he will lose. He is nothing compared to me. Look I'm sorry if I angered you but I couldn't stay by and leave Kol daggered. He is not some peace offering or some object you can mess with. He's your brother and Marcel was going to bury him at the bottom of the ocean" Davina retorts Klaus's eyes narrow and he scowls. "He was planning to do what?!" He yells "you mean you don't know what Marcel was planning to do the second he got his hands on Kol?" Davina questions Klaus shakes his head "no he told me he was going to lock him away deep in the dungeon underneath the compound" he replies making me scoff and clench my fists. "Oh like that's any better. You still handed me over without a care in the world and if it wasn't for Davina then I'd be at the bottom of the ocean by now and you would've never seen me again not that you care about that of course" I retort "I do care brother" he replies making me scoff again "you have a funny way of showing it" I respond as the front door opens and Elijah and Rebekah appear. "Ah you two are here. Davina you have left some people very unhappy" Elijah says "I don't fucking care if I made anyone unhappy. My priority was getting Kol back since you were clearly okay with betraying him and leaving him daggered and in the care of some who despises him!" She snaps clenching her fists and I see her hands are starting to grow so I quickly take one of her hands in mine and lace our fingers together making her calm down. Elijah looks guilty for a moment but it soon fades "regardless, you left a mess which I have just cleared up. Too get him off our backs and for him and his remaining vampires to leave Hayley, I made a new deal" he says "what deal?" Hayley asks suddenly appearing in the room. "Marcel has agreed to leave us all alone and mind his own business when it comes to us in exchange for you" he replies pointing at Davina making me instantly pull her closer to me and hold her protectively. "Me?" Davina asks as I glare at my brother's "he doesn't like your presence or you interfering so he demands we hand you over to him since you were in his possession first and if we do he'll leave her alone" Elijah explains making me scoff "Davina isn't his possession. He has no power or claim over her and if he dares so much as tries to take her or even touch a single strand of hair on her head. I'll kill him!" I snap kissing Davina's forehead. "It must be done though, if we are to keep Hayley and the baby safe" Elijah says I shake my head and tighten my hold on Davina "no I won't let you. I won't let you hand her over" I snarl "handing me over isn't going to solve anything, you must know that right? He's making a play and if you hand me over, the moment you all turn your backs he'll strike. Marcel cannot be trusted, he only wants me because he fears me. I almost burned him alive yesterday and I would have if he hadn't have jumped and landed on his ass" Davina retorts "besides if you dare hand me to him then you'll not only anger me and Kol. You'll be making some Asgardian's very angry and you do not want to cross or make an enemy of Asgard" she adds in a warning tone. "I won't let you hand her over either" Hayley says "what about keeping you and the baby safe?" Elijah questions "I can take care of myself besides Davina can help protect me and the baby. The baby likes her and feels safe with her around so I won't let you hand over the one person who is strong enough to protect my baby from every threat of yours in New Orleans" she retorts glaring at him "very well" Elijah replies "funny how you listen to her and respect her descion but you don't respect mine or Davina's. You were actually considering handing over not only a Princess but a Goddess over to Marcel who would've used her as a weapon and you bloody well know it" I say glaring at them "it was just an option, we hadn't actually considered doing it. At least I hadn't, I would never stab Davina in the back like that" Rebekah finally speaks up Davina sighs and pulls away from me. "This whole making negotiations and threatening to hand each other over to Marcel is not going to help anyone. I understand you want to protect Hayley and the baby and you want the city back and that's fine but daggering each other and betraying one another is not going to help, it's only going to make matters worse" she says "what would you suggest we do then?" Klaus asks "work together, you are a family and you think betraying each other is okay when it's not. In Asgard when the warriors go to fight a battle, they don't betray each other or leave each other, they stick together and have each others backs. No warrior is ever left behind and that should be the same for you guys. No family member is left behind. You two need to be better brothers to Kol and actually start listening to him and showing that you care. Elijah you need to start acknowledging the fact you have two brothers not just one" Davina responds Elijah and Klaus look a bit shocked at her last words as nobody has ever called them out on how they treat me but I'm so glad someone finally has. "Look the main point is we stick together and work together in order to protect Hayley and the baby and when it comes to Marcel and the witches we deal with them together because the only way you're going to succeed in protecting Hayley and the baby and getting your city back is by working together as a team" Davina says "she's right. We aren't going to get the city back or protect Hayley and the baby if we're at each others throats and stabbing each other in the back" Rebekah responds "we should listen to her. She is a Goddess after all and she comes from a planet that has outstanding battle strategies" I say since Davina told me of pretty much every battle Asgardian warriors have endured and won because they work together and respect one another. "Fine, we'll do this together but I swear to god Kol if you betray us I'll dagger you" Klaus warns earning a scoff from Davina "stop treating Kol like he's at fault for everything. You're the one who just recently betrayed him by daggering him and handing him over to Marcel. You need to sort your fucking shit out and leave Kol alone! Oh as for the daggers" she says waving her hand and making the other remaining daggers appear in her hand. "There will be no more daggering your siblings. I forbid it" she says before heating up her hand and melting the daggers into nothing but ash making me smirk. "I like her even more now" Rebekah says impressed while Klaus looks very upset at loosing his daggers. Davina smirks at him "now we can fully work together with no chance of you daggering one of your siblings because you feel like it or because they've said or done something you don't like" she says "I'll just make some more" Klaus retorts cockily making me snort "you can't make more since the people who created the daggers in the first place are deceased" I say with a smug grin. "I don't understand why you feel the need to treat your siblings so poorly but it stops now" Davina says sternly giving him a look that makes him look nervous and honestly a little terrified. "Fine where do we start on protecting Hayley and the baby?" Elijah asks "we scare Marcel. I know for a fact he's already scared of me after what I did last night so it won't take much. I'll threaten him and scare him into leaving you alone and if he refuses and tries anything I will simply kill him" Davina responds "that doesn't sound too bad. What about the witches?" Elijah asks "we scare them too. They are after me because I'm powerful and they think they can just take me and sacrifice me so they can have my power but they don't realize just how dangerous and powerful I am. I can have every New Orleans witch burning into flames on the spot at the same time and it's about time the witches had their asses handed to them since I'm sick of them thinking they're all so high and mighty" Davina retorts "well I'm in. I trust it will work" I say "fine let's do this. We start with Marcel and demand he hands over the city" Klaus replies "he won't hand over the city that easy. If you want to reclaim the city then you have to gain the trust and respect of the people that live in New Orleans. A good ruler cares for their people and the city" Davina responds "then what?" Klaus asks "well if you have the trust and respect of the people which I know for a fact Marcel doesn't. The people will choose you and they will want him gone from the throne so they will try to over throw him which would be hard since he's a vampire but you lot are the original vampires and you're stronger than him but with me by your side, you're simply unstoppable" she explains making them smirk, obviously liking the idea of being unstoppable, we had been unstoppable and untouchable before but since the stupid events that occurred in Mystic Falls where our brother Finn was murdered by two pathetic humans, where our mother tried to kill us, where that doppelganger whore Elena and her weaselly hunter brother Jeremy tried to kill me in order to finish the map to find the cure and because of the whole Silas thing, we kind of lost our way a little bit and realized that we aren't always unstoppable and untouchable.
