The next day....

Davina's pov

I wake up to Gideon fussing and I see the baby dragons settled on both ends of the bassinet basket and they appear to be watching over Gideon. Kol stirs beside me as he opens his eyes "good morning love" he says his deep husky morning voice evident making me feel a little moist in my neither region if you know what I mean. "Good morning" I respond leaning down and pressing my lips against his making him hum in response and he attempts to deepen the kiss but we're cut off by Gideon letting out a big cry. "Okay Gideon, I hear you. Mama's coming" I say as I pull away from Kol and get out of bed. I walk over to the bassinet and the baby dragons move aside as I lean over and smile down at Gideon "hey baby boy" I coo making him instantly stop smiling but he wiggles about as I reach into the bassinet and pick him up "come on, let's get you fed before we head downstairs we won't offend your moody uncle Klaus" I coo kissing his forehead as I sit myself on the rocking chair and pulling the left side of my nightgown revealing my left breast "ohh hello" Kol says leaning up on his elbows and wiggling his eyebrows at me as he eyes my bare breast making me snort lightly and playfully roll my eyes "oh shush" I respond grabbing a little pillow from behind me and tossing it at him making him chuckle as it hits him in the face. "Sorry love, couldn't resist" he responds as he leans back against the bed frame "oh I'm sure you couldn't" I respond sarcastically as I bring Gideon to my breast allowing him to latch onto my nipple and start suckling. The baby dragons squawk at me before flying over and sitting on my shoulders. "They follow you like a hawk" Kol comments "I'm their protector and they are bonded with both me and Gideon so they have an instant need to be near us and make sure we're okay" I respond "it's gonna be kind of cool having dragons around. I remember every dragon story I heard, I instantly loved. The thought of a fire breathing creature that could fly appealed to me. I found them very interesting but of course I thought they were just myths" he explains "they were never myths but they are incredibly rare though. There use to be quite a few dragons on earth but because of humans greed and hunger for power and order. They either died out or some escaped from Earth to live elsewhere and lived the rest of their days in peace from humans" I responds  "that is believable" he replies as he gets out of bed revealing himself in just a pair of boxers which are very snug on him and the sight honestly makes my mouth water and has my body heating. I clear my throat and look down at Gideon when Kol notices me staring and smirks "see something you like love?" he asks teasingly "no, I just got distracted" I respond with a scoff "yeah, you certainly did look a bit distract by the sight of my perfect, sexy body" he retorts gesturing to himself making me laugh as I let out a scoff. "Oh please, don't be so full of yourself. Cocky isn't a good look on a man" I respond making him smirk "oh really? Because I could've sworn you like it when I get a bit cocky" he responds tilting his head to the head as he walks over with his hands behind his back. "I mean didn't you once tell me how much it turns you on when I act cocky?" he asks "are we seriously having this kind of conversation in front of our son?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. Kol bites his lip "you're right. We should have this conversation some other time when it's appropriate" he responds as I look down at Gideon who's still suckling away at my breast. "How much milk does he need?" he asks "as much as he wants" I respond as I gently stroke Gideon's head making him nuzzle against me. "I'm gonna take a shower. Shout if you need anything" Kol says grabbing some clothes from the wardrobe as he heads to the bathroom "okay" I respond as he enters the bathroom and shuts the door behind him.

10 minutes later...

Gideon is fed and fully dressed and is currently back in the bassinet while I get dressed. I quickly made the bed before I proceeded to get dressed. Kol walks out the bathroom, fully dressed and towel drying his hair "so I was thinking about how you want to move somewhere better and safer for Gideon" he starts "I'm listening" I respond as he tosses the towel he just used in the laundry basket and looks up with his semi-damp hair all stuck up but not in a messy way that makes him look lazy and sloppy and as if he has just woken up. His hair is stuck up in a way that makes him look even more handsome and just very hot. "Well we don't necessarily have to move Norway since we have that safe house that Tony and Fury gave you" he says "you have a point, go on" I respond "I was thinking maybe we could just move to the safe house. Just me, you and Gideon" he adds "you're forgetting about my father and these dragons. I can't leave my father here and I can't leave the dragons here" I respond "of course, that's reasonable but moving to the safe house is something you could consider instead of moving to Norway and I get why you want to go there because of your big dragon and it's excluded from humans but I don't want to go too far" he responds "I understand. Does that mean you won't move to Asgard with me and Gideon if we had to live there?" I ask "of course, I'd live on Asgard with you and Gideon. I don't plan on ever letting either of you out of my sight. I just think it would save the hassle of having to find somewhere to live in Norway when we already have a perfectly nice safe house to live in which has acres of land surrounding it so there's plenty of room for the dragons to roam" he responds "you make a good point. That means we won't go to Norway now, so we should probably tell the others" I respond making him nod "let's get it over and done with as I know Nik will have a hissy fit over it" he responds as I pick up Gideon and carefully cradle him in my arms. "Well if he does, he can just kiss my ass because it's not his decision and it's not up to him where we live" I respond "I'd prefer if he kept his lips off your ass" Kol retorts making me giggle and roll my eyes "you know what I meant" I respond as we leave the room and head downstairs with the baby dragons following behind us as we find everyone in the kitchen including my father but he's just stood in the corner, reading a book, being his usual anti-social self. "So everyone we have an announcement" Kol says clapping his hands catching everyone's attention and making them look at him except for my father but I know he's listening. "What's the announcement? You and Davina have decided not to leave and remain here with Gideon and the dragons" Klaus responds "Ohh so close. Me and Kol have decided not to move to Norway but instead we shall live in the safe house that was kindly given to me and provided by Tony Stark and Agent Fury" I respond "no, absolutely not. You shall stay here" Klaus responds "I hate to the news to you Klaus but it's not up to you" I respond flashing him a sarcastic smile as I hand Gideon to Kol. "Let's not make an argument out of this. My daughter and Kol have made a decision based on what's best for their son and as parents their decision should be respected" my father speaks without even glancing up from the book he was reading. "What of the dragons? They should stay here" Klaus responds making me scoff "yeah, no chance in hell am I leaving two baby dragons in the hands of someone who knows nothing about how to care for or raise a dragon especially when said dragons are bonded with me and Gideon" I respond "the dragons will go with Davina and the child. They go wherever Davina and Gideon go besides my daughter is the guardian and protector of dragons so it's sort of her duty to take care of the dragons" my father speaks up shutting his book with a loud thud as he looks up. "So aside from Nik, are there any other objections? Not that we'll listen because nothing any of you say will change our minds" Kol says "no, I think it's a good idea. I for one loved being there with Hope, the safe house is very beautiful and the scenery is amazing plus Hope loved it there" Hayley responds "great, so within the next week or so. Me and Davina shall move to the safe house with Gideon, the baby dragons and Loki" Kol responds "why does he get to go with you?" Freya asks "um because he's my father and I can't just leave him here with you lot no offense. It's just I'm suppose to be making sure my father is on his best behaviour and not getting up to trouble" I respond "can I just go straight to the safe house now?" my father asks "why, isn't our hospitality good enough for you?" Klaus asks "well no offense but I prefer to be somewhere that isn't as crowed and this house is literally filled with a few too many people for my liking although the drama isn't too bad" my father responds "so when will you be moving to the safe house?" Elijah asks "within the next week or so" Kol responds "that sounds reasonable. Gives you enough time to prepare a room for Gideon over there" Rebekah responds "anyway moving on. Davina what would you like for breakfast?" Hayley asks "yoghurt and fruit" I respond "would you like some coffee too?" Freya asks "no, I can't drink caffeine since I'm breastfeeding" I respond "don't say that word" Klaus says "what word? Breastfeeding?" I ask "yes" he responds "why can't she say that word? It's a perfectly normal word for how a mother feeds her infant child" my father says "I just don't like it being mentioned near food" Klaus responds "breast milk technically is food. It's food for babies" Rebekah responds "correction it's Gideon's food" Hayley adds "I think I will say the word breastfeeding if I want too Klaus and you can't tell me otherwise as I have a voice and I will say whatever I want to say" I respond before clapping my hands. "Right where's my fruit and yoghurt?" I ask as I get up from the table. "Right here and here's some fresh juice" Hayley responds handing me my bowl of fruit and yoghurt along with a glass of juice. "Thanks" I say as I sit back down "so what are you naming the dragons?" my father asks "I don't know, I haven't really decided yet. I'm trying to figure out their personalities first" I respond glancing at the baby dragons who have perched themselves on my father's shoulders. "Speaking of which do you have any uncooked chicken or even cooked chicken as they need to be fed?" I ask glancing at the Mikaelsons "I'll get some from the store" Rebekah responds "no, you don't have too. I can always pop out with Kol and Gideon and get some" I respond "it's okay, you gave birth yesterday so you should rest and spend time with your little boy" she responds flashing me a smile as I turn to look at Gideon who seems to be half asleep in Kol's arms. "He probably won't be awake much as he's just a newborn and newborns tend to just sleep, eat and poop" I respond "of course you know that" Klaus responds "well duh, I raised your daughter for six months" I respond in a sarcastic tone making everyone chuckle. I start eating my breakfast as everyone makes conversation while my father remains in the corner with the baby dragons on his shoulders as he opens the book he was previously reading and continues reading it.
