6 months came in a blink of an eye, in an isolated island where a huge mansion stood. It was deadly quiet that you could even hear a needle drop, everyone stood with their back tensely straight.

No one dared to make any sound, Cadenza and Barry stood side by side as they watched the doctor examine Mr Kuznetsov, whose lying in the bed with a very pale face.

"Your Grandfather's heart condition is only getting worse, I'm afraid he'll only last for days" the doctor
said apologetically.

"Can't you do anything about it?" Barry's voice shook.

"Only if Mr Kuznetsov would go under surgery and his life will be prolonged" the doctor replied as he packed his things.

"Grandpa" Cadenza held Barry's shoulder she wanted to say something but not o words came out of her mouth.

"Barry, don't worry about me, I'm old and weak even if I would go under surgery, my life will be prolonged but I still won't be able to do anything. It's better for me to die" Mr Kuznetsov said calmly his demanding voice made Barry speechless.

"Young master, you should comply Master's wishes. It's the only thing he asked you to do" Romano stood beside Mr Kuznetsov interrupting Barry when he saw he was about to go against his grandpa.

"Cadenza take care of my grandson, after he succeeded to be the next heir, you will have both Mafia under your wings as what we talked" Mr Kuznetsov looked at Cadenza deeply.

Cadenza immediately understood his intentions "I Understand, everybody leave,except you..Barry" she said softly before leaving.

As she got into the car Cadenza couldn't help but feel some what uncomfortable, there was something in her heart that was...unusual it felt stuffy that made her uncomfortable. Is it because of Mr Kuznetsov that was passing away or is it because of the inexplicable sadness that she had seen in Barry's eyes.

Whatever the reason is, she wanted to get rid of it...permanently.

"Are you ok, Boss?" the driver asked.

"Drive"

When Cadenza got home she was greeted with Charlotte in all smiles. Her cold face gradually soften and asked "What happened?"

"Mom, Dad, oldest brother and second, third and fourth brother are coming home next week" Charlotte excitedly said.

Cadenza couldn't help but laugh "It's been a while since we gathered together" ever since the changes in the country has been established their parents gradually became busy and their schedule become hectic, and could only come home 3-4 times in a month. While their brothers couldn't come home that often because of their busy schedule in their academics in school.

So it only left the two sisters relying on each other. The maids couldn't help but be delighted to see their misses relationship with each other.

"I can't believe the next school year will be the last year of our junior years" Charlotte said smilingly but her eyes held a hint of Sadness.

Cadenza was brought back to reality and only nodded, she was still troubled about earlier and her feelings right now was in shambles. Since she was not able to catch the topic she gradually changed it to divert Charlotte's attention.

"What's your plan this summer?"

"Hmmm" Charlotte's brow wrinkled as she thought about Cadenza's question deeply "I guess I'll go to Japan to visit my mother, bake sweets...I guess that's it. How about you Cadence-chan?"

"I'm busy with my photoshoots, shopping and meeting with my friends" Cadenza replied, she felt bad for lying to her sister but she has no choice. but if she'll be honest: "I'm busy, killing people, transporting illegal goods, spying enemies and cleaning my crimes"

She doesn't dare do it.

"Oh, that explains why you're always going out" after a while Charlotte looked very hesitated, but that wasn't noticed by Cadenza at all.

"Cadence-chan, what if there were two boys wanting you to be theirs, what would you do?" Charlotte finally spoke, she was so embarrassed.

Meanwhile Cadenza was startled and almost choked her food, seeing her sister's embarrassment and her eyes held seriousness. She calmed herself and spoke:

"First: I would compare their character which one is more likeable, second: I need them to prove themselves if they are worth it, third: I would test their patience and fourth: I need to know if they can protect me and accept me" Cadenza smiled, it seems like the game is still going on, but wait only two? There were six capture targets, minus her brothers there would be still three: Louis, Frederick and Giles.

Cadenza felt something's missing and this whole otome game plot seems a bit strange as if there was something that was missing. Cadenza couldn't quite remember, since when she died her cousin hit her head critically for several times that made her memory of her past life somewhat blurred.

But as long as she had several shards of her memory that she can use to prevent her death in this life it was enough for her. If she can't remember it, then forget about it sometimes you have to let go of things that even if you wreck your brain searching for it you won't get any answers, in the end you'll just waste time, effort and energy for nothing.

"Umm..What happened to Giles?" Cadenza asked.

"Giles?" Charlotte frowned.

"Never mind, I'm just tired" Cadenza stood up and walked towards her room.

Seeing Trevor sleeping soundly, Cadenza laid in her bed lazily.

"Heroine and the Capture targets?" Cadenza looked at her hand, feeling so empty "I'm not the real Cadenza, I don't deserve any of these, I'm just Tory. Is my existence a paradox in the is world?"

Tears gently flowed down her face

"This isn't me"
