So basically, Violet is like... this star hockey player. Confident... keeps to her small group and the hockey team, She's well known at her school despite her having her group of friends, all the girls love her and shit... Basically a jock, but more selfless. As to where Clementine is this goody two shoes and never breaks rules and her and Violet are {Insert drumroll} Just friends. This chapter is gonna be longer than the others. Let's see how this plays out.

*Clementine's POV*

Just friends.

That's what I've been telling myself since it happened.

We haven't talked about it.

You might be asking 'Talked about what?'.

I'm talking about the kiss we shared.

Violet was talking about unreciprocated feelings, I kissed her, I walked away before she got to say anything.

Now that I think about it, she was probably talking about Minerva.

But I couldn't help myself.

It's not my fault she looks so... Ugh... in her hockey jersey.

With her stupid blonde hair and stupid green eyes.

And that stupid laugh and her stupid pretty smile.

She does it on purpose!

I haven't gone to school since the incident on Friday.

Today is Wednesday.

But as a senior, I can't afford to miss any school.

So only two more days to avoid her.

I haven't checked any of her messages.

Every time I try, I chicken out.

I don't know why.

I haven't told anyone about it and I don't know if she did.

I have to go to school today.

There's have a million projects due.

And the worst thing is; I have every class with Violet.

How can I be so lucky and cursed at the same time

I'm praying that she doesn't show up today.

-----------------------

Homeroom went smooth.

No sign of Violet just then.

But first period is when shit got real for me.

Violet walked in the classroom with her dumb green eyes and her stupid face... and her dumb hair in a short dumb ponytail.

And her signature dumb hockey stick.

She looked around the room for a place to sit and guess what!

The only available seat is next to me.

She made her way over with a smile and sat down next to me.

Her dumb smell good lotion filled my nostrils.

Just kill me, please.

You've got to be kidding me right now.

The teacher started giving his lecture and that's when she started talking to me.

"Hey... Why didn't you answer any of my messages?" She seemed genuinely oblivious to the fact that I was literally going through a mental breakdown at the moment.
