Y/n's POV:

I'm really happy that my mother didn't say anything embarrassing back at the airport. I'm also glad that Ariana seems to be calming down more. Now all we have to get through is her meeting my brother.

When I open the door to the house, I'm instantly greeted with a bear hug from Sam.

"Okay okay! I get it you missed me!! Now will ya let go?!"

"Phttt you think I missed you? Yeah right" Sam says.

I push him outta the way and I see his jaw almost drop as he sees Ariana follow closely inside behind me.

"Wait you were serious? I mean I've seen the news, and Thanksgiving, but I figured it was a prank." He says.

"Huh?" I say confused.

"I didn't think you were actually um ah-dating um-"

"Me?" Ariana says cutting him off.

"Uh yeah. Sorry I just don't get why you would want to date someone like my sister." Sam says.

"Ouch Sam rude!"

"Sam if I hear another comment like that then I won't bring you to the gym for a week." Our mother says stepping into the house.

"Kelly it's quite alright. I'm sure Sam is just surprised and annoyed at how much better Y/n is at getting a girlfriend than himself." Ariana says.

I'm speechless for a second and so is the rest of my family.

"Damn babe. Nice job roasting my brother, and I say roast, because we all know it's true."

"It is not!!" Sam shouts.

"Well maybe if you showed an interest in gettin a girlfriend then maybe you'd have one." Our mother says.

"I'm perfectly happy as is, plus I don't need someone else worrying about me constantly." Sam says.

"You know I do it out of love dear" our mother says.

"Yes, but sometimes I feel over-loved" he says.

We all start laughing and soon enough my mother is back to asking Ariana a zillion questions.

"So, you really weren't kidding" Sam says nudging me.

"Nope" I tell him staring intently at my beautiful girlfriend.

"She's even hotter in person" he says.

"SAM!!" I punch him hard in the arm.

"Ow! Well I'm not wrong, yet again." He says.

"YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!!!"

"What can't your brother say Y/n?" I hear our mother ask.

I turn to see both my mom and Ariana now staring at us with questioning looks. I see in the corner of my eye a smirk appear on Sams face.

"She doesn't like when I say that Ari-" I cover his mouth before he can finish his sentence.

I see Ariana raise an eyebrow at me and my mother look even more confused.

"It's nothing bad, just something that shouldn't be coming from HIS mouth" I tell them, giving Sam a death look.

"Oh okay, well Sam can you help me get dinner ready?" Our mom asks.
