"This is so boring, I don't even know what's happening." Joshua complained as he snuggled against my arm.
"It's football, there ain't much that goes into it." I chuckled.
"Can we please watch something else." He begged.
"Jay it's Sunday, we watched whatever you wanted to watch yesterday and Friday." I retorted.
"Fine." He responded back sourly.
"Chill out." I shook my head, chuckling
Seconds later we heard a key in the door, Javier walked in with a bright smile holding his ball in his hand and his gym bag on his back.
"Hell is you smiling so hard for?" I questioned, raising a eyebrow as I watched Paco run over to him, completely ecstatic.
"Had a good game," he said quickly before removing his shoes, "love y'all," he shouted after jogging upstairs.
I shook my head a began speaking to Joshua who'd been laughing at the whole interaction.
"So I got commander to look into Rodrigos case." I brought up.
"And?" He questioned.
"He's facing five years." I shook my head.
"Five!" He spoke, sitting up so we'd make eye contact.
"I know," I sighed.
"How, I thought all the crimes fell on him?" Joshua asked.
"Yeah me too, somehow he wormed his way out of it. You know people like him, they don't just go to jail, he'll find a way out." I nodded.
"that's scary.." he spoke, clutching onto me tighter.
"Yeah it is, I probably won't tell André about all is this-he deserves to live his life and shit, this is my problem." I spoke.
"But speaking of that, I want chu' to be careful," I spoke, looking down at him.
"I will." He responded.
"Joshua, I'm serious, you know yo ass can be overly trusting."
"woah, was the first name really necessary." He said sarcastically.
"baby." I warned.
"Clare I know, I'm not an idiot. I actually have someone else to look after so of course I'm gonna be cautious, you should trust me enough to do that." He said.
I could already tell he as about to catch an attitude so I quickly tried to diffuse the situation.
"Did I say I didn't trust you?" I sighed, "no I didn't, all I'm saying is I don't want something to happen and I'm not here to protect you. I'll lose my fucking mind if something happens to you or Jave and I'm half way across the world ."
