"none of this makes any sense!" I groaned, running my hands through my hair as I looked at the numerous officers.

"There's no sign of restraint or foul play, so you're saying he just disappeared in thin air, we both know this is Rodrigo!"

"Sir we understand your suspicions, but without substantial evidence, everything is up in the air."

My fists clenched as I bit my lip, holding back impending tears.

I stared at The car infront of us as thoughts of the worst ran through my head.

I'd tried to contact Clare, but I had no success, and André himself was still on his way.

The only person here was Carlos, but even then I didn't completely trust him...

"Joshua just calm down, we have to thi—"

"don't tell me to calm down." I spoke lowly.

"Look I know you're worried, I am too—even though I just met him Javiers my brother." He explained.

"My Father wouldn't kill him Joshua, at least not yet—this is apart of his game, that's all."

I ignored his words and once again dialed the number Clare used.

Again, no answer.

I cursed silently and took a shaky breath. Minutes later I spotted André pulling up, his eyes full on panic.

I assured the police it's was fine to which they allowed him through.

"What happened!?" He questioned.

"I don't know, Javier didn't come home after a couple of hours, then Destin called me concerned since he hadn't heard from him either. I drove around the neighborhood for a while and came across Clare's car he used. I called the police and here we are.." I spoke, exhausted.

"I'm so sorry doc, we gonna find him, I promise." He spoke, his eyes dropping to the ground.

"What did you tell his little boyfriend?" Carlos questioned.

"Nothing yet. I'm not sure what to say," I said honestly.

"—and to be honest, that's not on my priority list right now."

"Maybe we should just go home doc, we're not gonna—"

"no. I'm not going anywhere." I said flatly.
