Chapter 29 "How Have I Not Noticed You Guys Stalking?"

*Veronica POV*

It was officially Tuesday we decided to stay in Lorenzo's apartment for our lazy day.

"I told you that having throws on your sofas would be useful" he hummed in response as I threw one over us ready to watch movies on Netflix. Lorenzo stayed in his Calvin Kleins while I wore his printed t shirt since my clothes where either dirty or down in my apartment. We went through a few Disney movies and Chinese food before someone interrupted our cozy day. Lorenzo checked the peephole to see who it was before he opened the door to reveal my brother and our friends.

"How was the holiday?" Kat asked getting under the throw with me and Amy.

"It was so romantic" I gushed telling her about everything ending with the promise ring.

"Show us" Amy grabbed my hands trying to see it.

"God damn how is he going to top that?" Amy asked I laughed thinking the same thing.

"I wanted to ask you guys something" I had come up with a idea for Lorenzo's Christmas present but I wasn't sure if he'd like it. After he gave me the ring I thought about how I would want to give him the same promise.

"I've already planned to make Lorenzo a scrap book of us from when we were young to now. I've asked Camilla about using photos she's kept and she told me her and my mum had taken loads of us when we were growing up. I need you guys to try and take some cute candid pictures of us-" Amy screamed causing Noah to run to us.

"Are you okay baby?" He asked holding her face inspecting it. I laughed at how protective he was being but I knew Lorenzo would probably done the same with my brother right behind him.

"I'm fine I just got really excited for V" she explained. Noah went back to the kitchen after Amy assured him she was just being dramatic.

"Kat and I haven't showed you because you've been busy getting that daddy dick" I slapped her arm for her to shut up the guys might hear we weren't that far from the kitchen and the apartment was all open plan.

"Alright sorry" she hit me back.

"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted" she shot me a glare.

"Kat and I have taken so many candid photos of you guys. When Lorenzo came back I knew you and him would reunite and become what you was meant to be all those years ago" Amy said dramatically.

"That is why I started to take photos of you guys and I wanted to show you how he always looks at you when your not watching" she gave me her phone open on the album titled stalker.

"You need to send me these" I flicked through the photos seeing Lorenzo from the night he came home to now. I found photos of nights we worked at the bar. Amy would come in with Noah for a few drinks.

"I love this one" I zoomed in to make sure every part of the photo looked good. It was the night when we was at the club before the waitress flirted with him. I was sat next to him his arm around my shoulder, my hand on his thigh while he was whispering in to my ear making me laugh.

"How have I not noticed you guys stalking?" I asked taking Kat's phone to look at her photos.

"You're too busy looking at him" I followed her gaze to Lorenzo, he was stood next to Danny and Xander laughing. I watched them drinking their beers making plans, they seemed like normal guys if you didn't know the whole gang side of their lives.

"It's hard not to stare" I admitted to the girls blushing when he caught me.

"I feel the same way about Noah" Amy replied looking to the kitchen probably staring like I did.

"Stop being cheesy guys" I looked to Kat to see she was staring at my brother. Hypocrite.

"Back to my Christmas present I need all the photos to print out. I want to give him a promise ring in return. I want everyone to know he's mine" I explained Amy and Kat agreed that it would be cute.

"I've sent the photos you chose" Amy informed me half an hour later. We were watching friends the guys were still in the kitchen deep in their own little world.

"I've sent them too" Kat said I thanked them both. I sorted the photos in to a album to print, I found a app that would print the photos and send them to your address. I ordered the photos express shipping hoping Christmas being in two days wouldn't affect it. The guys finally came to sit with us I think they finally had enough of standing or Xander complaining about his leg. Danny took Kat to sit on the love seat with him while Amy and Noah took one end of the L sofa. Lorenzo and I took the long L side stretching our legs out and cuddling. Xander bless him was on his own he took the floor not wanting to be next to any couples that would make him want to puke. His words.

"Lorenzo told us he gave you a ring" Xander mentioned when the episode ended. I awkwardly nodded fiddling with it under the throw.

"Show us" Xander looked over to see I held my hand out. I watched his expression change to shock.

"How are you going to top that?" He asked Amy threw her hands in the air.

"That's what I said" she yelled. I laughed at them Lorenzo shrugged.

"I don't need to top it. I know Ronnie well enough to know anything I give her with thought counts way more than the price tag" Lorenzo said I reached up kissing his jaw.

"Why can't you say stuff like that about me?" I heard Amy talking to Noah who rolled his eyes at her. He knew she wasn't being serious.

"I'm sorry baby" Noah looked to us before he spoke again.

"Amy appreciates when I give her free things to like last night I gave her six free orgas-" Amy slapped her hand covering his mouth but it was too late everyone knew what he was going to say.

"I liked it better when you didn't say anything" Amy muttered while everyone laughed at them.

"Danny did you out cameras in my apartment?" I asked when I remembered what happened before we had left.

"Lorenzo told me to only do his since you're renting your place out?" His reply was more of question.

"You missed that part out when you were talking to us" Kat called out. I looked to see Any just as offended.

"I'm sorry so much happend while we were away I kinda forgot about the moving part" I admitted. I still wanted to move I just had to wait until after Christmas because the restaurant is going to be closed 25th to the 30th. We had the 31st filled until midnight. I wouldn't be on that shift since I was going to be at the club all day to help set up the 1920's theme night. We had chosen it since we would be going in to 2020.

"I can't move in until after Christmas" Lorenzo opened his mouth but I knew I had to finish my sentence before he got defensive.

"But it would be before the new year" I rushed out not wanting to argue in front of everyone.

"I want you to spend the nights here, Danny put cameras in my apartment. We're safe here" I couldn't help but agree. I knew if I'd gone back to stay in my apartment I would always be paranoid.

"Did you find out who was at my apartment?" I asked Danny he shook his head.

"I tried to find out whoever it was but I couldn't find them. We hacked the cameras for the building but whoever it was they knew how to hide" Danny said annoyed. I knew he wasn't annoyed at us he was annoyed about not being able to help.

"Thank you for looking" I thought back to Elijah.

"Is Elijah still snooping around?" I asked.

"I spoke with the gang in the other town they spoke to him and he went after them. He got shot after shooting their men" I sat up straighter shocked.

"Is he dead?" Danny shook his head.

"He's going to wish he was. I've looked in to that gang they're known for torture V " I let out sigh this shit is becoming too much. Why are we so involved? Why was my apartment broken in to? I want this shit gone before the new year. We all deserved and needed a fresh clean start to the new year.
