Chapter 45 "I Can't Fucking Stop Until This Is Over"

*Veronica POV*

We got to Danny's house late that evening, I hadn't told them much other than we had to leave the island. I rushed up to my old room leaving Amy, Noah and Enzo behind me, I dig around my wardrobe to find an old memory box. 

"V, can you please just stop for one minute?" Amy said between catching her breath she had clearly ran after me. I looked up to see Danny, Noah and Lorenzo stood in the room with her.

"I can't fucking stop until this is over" I snapped. I had gotten more irritable from the lack of sleep I had. Ever since I thought about this stupid watch I couldn't do any thing other than stress. I needed to know what the fuck he needed so fucking bad it's worth the death of so many. 

"Let me look through the box V" Amy pushed me to sit on to the bed. I laid down taking slow deep breathes trying to calm myself down. I needed a blunt so bad, I hadn't smoked in so long. 

"I'm going to smoke" I took the packet Danny held out for me, I grabbed Lorenzo's hand taking him with me. I rolled and lit the blunt taking in a deep breath before I sat next to Lorenzo on the outdoor sofa. 

"Enzo" I mumbled wanting him to hold me. Lorenzo moved me on to his lap holding me as I smoked. I gave him the blunt to smoke, I cuddled in to his chest wrapping my legs and arms around him. 

"Sweetheart" I looked up at him. 

"You're not alone. You need to stop taking all the responsibility" I sighed knowing he was right but I just felt like I brought Alex to us. He's here because of me. 

"I know but he's hurting everyone" I whined, Lorenzo chuckled.

 "Ronnie, he's the one doing the hurting not you. No one is blaming you for shit" he promised. I finished the blunt throwing the end away. 

"I love you" I pressed my lips to his. Lorenzo's lips moved in sync with mine, he tugged on my bottom lip. I open my mouth letting his tongue invade my mouth, I moaned softly moving my hips against his. He pulled away letting out a groan I move down kissing his jaw and throat.

"We need to stop" Lorenzo moaned gripping his hands in to my ass. 

"I want you" I begged putting my hands under his white t-shirt pushing it up. Lorenzo grabbed my hands to stop me.

"Later, I promise" he kissed my pouted lips. I got up from his lap to go inside, he followed me in to the living area to see everyone sat around the room. 

"I found it at the back of your wardrobe" Amy said holding out a watch box. I took it from her hoping this was what I thought it was. I sat between her and Lorenzo opening the box I find the watch Alex had brought me. I hadn't seen it since he left me, I had packed it away with his other shit hoping to never see it again. 

"We need to go" Danny suddenly jumped up the anger clear on his face. 

"Why?" I asked Danny looked to Noah then Lorenzo as if his facial expression would tell them what was wrong. Lorenzo took my hand I dug my heels in to the ground not wanting to leave until I knew what was happening. 

"I'll tell you in the car we just need to leave the house" Lorenzo pleaded I saw the desperation on his face to leave. I nodded following him out to see Theo stood next to Lorenzo's G Wagon he must of drove it round. Amy and Noah went with Danny while we went in a different direction, I stayed silent letting him speed down the road. 

"That car is following us" I stated looking in the mirror again. 

"Under the seat is a gun I need you to take it load it and stay alert" I bent forward trying to reach as far as I could under the seat. I grabbed the gun loaded it from the bullets in the glove compartment.
