Chapter 49 "Scream My Name Princess"

*Veronica POV*

I threw the knife again hitting the bright red dot in the middle of the board again. Bullseye. The boards for knife throwing were set up at the front of the house while the shooting was going to happened at the back. 

"You're talented at this" Xander whistled shocked I threw another one. It landed next to the last knife I had just thrown. 

"It'll be knives instead of bullets if you annoy me again" I joked Xander's face filled with fear. He must of gotten flashbacks, I laughed at the thought. 

"I think I'm going to see if Amy needs any help with shooting" Xander rushed out leaving Levi to watch me. Levi started throwing his own knives at the other board since I didn't really need his help, I was doing great on my own. 

"Shall we switch to shooting? You can't be good at everything" Amy said holding out a gun for me. I take the gun knowing full well I wasn't the best with this weapon, I did need the practice. I left Levi to help Amy while I went around to the back to find Liam. 

"I know you've had to shoot before but your aim could be better" I nodding in agreement. I could never aim properly minus shooting Xander in my office, that only worked out so easily because he never run or move too fast. 

"I want you to really look where you're shooting" Liam started explaining.

"Find every movement he could do before he even thinks about doing it. Be ready to move your aim in a seconds notice" I held the gun up aiming for a shoulder I hit just below. That was close enough right? I mean it would still stop them from doing whatever they were doing. 

"Aim for the shoulder V" I rolled my eyes trying again. I did this a few times before I hit the exact spot Liam wanted. 

"On to the legs" 

"Why not the heart?" I asked. 

"Because if you kill the victim how are you going to get answers from them?" Liam asked with a raised eyebrow. 

"I suppose" I mumbled knowing he was right. 

It had been hours since I had seen Lorenzo, it had been a hour since the sirens for the police could have been heard. We didn't know what had happened at that location all we could hope is all of our gang make it home. 

"Fuck this, I'm going to cook" I sighed fed up of waiting around in silence. Kat and Amy followed me in to the kitchen, I took all the veg I would need out to make Mushroom Risotto with garlic bread. Garlic bread just makes everything taste better, never trust a bitch who don't like it. I wanted something comforting plus I remembered Lorenzo asking me to cook this for him while we was away. 

"I'll chop the veg for you" Kat took the knife from me. I turned to heat up some oil trying to think of anything but the guys. 

"I don't know how I'm going to keep doing this training" Amy yawned exhausted. I put the heat on low not wanting to burn anything while I spoke to Kat and Amy against the island.

"You can't give up, Danny won't let you live it down" I warned her she rolled her eyes, she knew I was right. Whenever either of us gave up on something or if he was right he would never let us live it down, no matter how little the thing was. Once Amy told Danny that she could out drink him and we all knew she couldn't but Danny took her offer and let her drink for free until she passed out. Danny to this day reminds her of how much of a light weight she was, 

"Do you train this long every day?" Amy asked Kat who shook her head. Amy's eyes lit up in hope that the more we do this the less hours we would have to do.
