We managed to find a little motel that wasn't completely run down. We had been walking for days and Nancie and Cory aren't use to so much walking, they probably had to stop a lot more often in their old group before they found that small village. Their feet have some blisters from walking for so long. I tried to carry Cory as much as I could but he's not exactly small and light. I'm glad we found this place so we can rest for a little while. Of course there is no power still, but there is also no water. We still have food for a few more days but we will run out soon and we will run out of water even quicker. Nate and I have decided tomorrow we will go out to look for supplies while Liz stays here with the kids. We've boarded up the windows and there is only one door in, they should be safe enough until we get back. There isn't much around that I've seen so far though, so I hope we don't have to go to far for supplies. I want too stay close by. I already miss our little home we made for ourselves.
