Song Jia stared straight at him and said, "I'm afraid."

Xiang Feng, "..."

She was actually completely afraid, ah. If not for Nian Shou and Su Liang, she would have ran away from here with all her might. Looking at the murderous expression on Xiang Feng's face, who wouldn't be afraid? Song Jia was terrified that he would do as he said and snap her neck in two.

Glancing away from his red eyes, Song Jia looked down and saw that the arrow which had pierced his chest had gone all the way through. Even if she knew that Xiang Feng had a superhuman body, she was still worried about him. That was another reason why she couldn't run away.

She bit her lip and said, "Xiang Feng, trust me."

Then she reached out with her hands and snapped off the arrow head.

Xiang Feng hissed, and his hand wrapped around Song Jia's neck. Because of her movement, the arrow had moved in the soft tissues of his body and made him feel an intense pain. The bloodthirsty Xiang Feng really wanted to kill this woman in front of him now.

Song Jia's heart skipped a beat. What surprised her the most was although she felt a wave of killing intent wash over her, the hand on her neck was loose. It seemed that he was trying his best not to kill her.

Song Jia was moved by this. Without hesitating any further, she wrapped her arms around Xiang Feng and said, "Sorry."

Then she grasped the end of the arrow behind his back with both hands and quickly pulled it out.

Xiang Feng's eyes became a deep scarlet, and the tiny bit of control inside him evaporated in a flash. Before he could kill the woman in front of him in anger, something soft was pressed against his lips.

Xiang Feng, "..."

Song Jia's thought process was simple. Since the bloodthirsty Xiang Feng from before had kissed her instead of killing her, maybe kissing him would prevent her untimely death.

Song Jia raised herself on her tiptoes and continued to kiss him. She nibbled on his bottom lip and laced her arms around his neck. Her heart pounding inside her chest, she secretly braced herself for the worst.

And then Xiang Feng kissed her back.

His kiss was hungry, violent, and almost brutal. When Song Jia needed to breathe, his mouth skimmed her jaw and then crushed onto her lips again. His hands were around her waist as he lifted her up, the muscles in his arms flexing as he held her.

Song Jia wrapped her legs around his waist. Their kiss intensified, igniting a flame that heated up both of their bodies. Xiang Feng pressed her against the pillar and moved his hands to loosen the laces of her dress. When he could finally tug it down and expose her upper body, he quickly cupped her breasts.

His mouth released her lips and moved down to her chest to lick the tip of the hardened plum. His tongue swirled around it, his sharp teeth sometimes grazing around the sensitive nub.

Song Jia bit her lip and moaned, "Nn...We're outside..."

Xiang Feng ignored her protest and continued suckling her breasts. But Song Jia grabbed his hair and tilted his head until his scarlet eyes were fixed on hers.

"I don't want anybody to see me like this," she said pointedly, laying out her bottom line.

She knew that her distraction had worked. He was breathing roughly and she could feel that he was impossibly hard even through the thick layers of clothing that separated them. But Song Jia didn't want to be caught in a compromising position. What if more assassins arrived? She didn't want to have a funny inscription on her gravestone.
