Chapter 44 ♥

MARY POV

The boy was no other than Niall Freaking Horan with his mom. I wanted to run so bad but my legs were not moving. Instead, I greeted them both and took a seat next to my mother.

The whole dinner was awkward. My mom and Maura both explained to Niall and me that they would like us to get married but we both had the final decision. They said that we had a difficult past but they feel like we are supposed to be together until forever. They both gave us until New Year’s Eve to decide if we wanted to be engage or not.

Niall immediately excused himself to the rest room as so as we were finished eating.

“So Mary, your mum told me about your year,” Maura said striking up the conversation

“She did, did she?”

“Yes she did she told me everything”

“So are you mad and disappointed. Did you tell Niall as yet?” I asked

“No I am not mad but I am sorry that you had been through a rough year. I did not tell Niall because I think you should be the one to tell him if you want when you’re ready,” she stated and I nodded.

So, we waited for a few minutes before Niall returned and we paid the bill. We left the restaurant and made it out of the restaurant. I was about to go into my car when my mother spoke up

“Honey, do you mind if Niall tag along with you? Maura and I want to go out for some drinks.”

 I just nodded and told Niall to get in. he did as he was told. The car ride was silent for the first few minutes until Niall spoke.

“So… where are we going?”

“Home” I simply said with no emotion on my face.

“Why?” he said and I was starting to get annoyed.

“Because we need to talk” I said and then the entire car ride was filled with silence once again.

I pulled in the driveway and got out of the car. Niall followed me and I unlocked the door and entered my house. As soon as I let go of the doorknob I got pushed against the wall and then Niall began to kiss me. The place pitched black and it was so quiet that you could have heard a pin drop.

I quickly pushed him off me and screamed, “What the hell do you think you were doing?”

“What you was the one who said you wanted to go home”

“Yes because we needed to talk, not have sex”

“Well it definitely won’t be our first time together,” he said as he tried to kiss me again.

He tried but he did not succeed. I kicked him where the sun does not shine. He fell to the ground as groaned from the pain he felt.

I quickly made my way to the light and flicked them on. As I did so “SURPRISE” a bunch of people screamed.

I looked around and saw my house decorated with happy birthday signs and streamers and other stuffs.

My eyes landed on some very familiar faces from the band One Direction.

“Hey guys I think your band mate needs some help” I said smirking and pointed towards Niall as I refered to him.

“Nah I think he is fine.” Harry said

“HARRY!” Liam, Louis and Zayn screeched and they went over to check on their friend.

“What the dude punched me twice. It’s about time he get his payback.” He smirked and made his way over to me and handed me a gift while hugging me and whispered “Happy Birthday, love”

“Thanks, Harry. Now don’t let me ruin a fucking fantastic party” I shouted while grabbing a bottle of vodka and began to chug it down.

I saw Vee walking towards me along with Dylan

“We did not plan this. It was all Kajol’s fault we tried to stop her. Especially with everything that has happened” Vee said panicking

“It’s okay. We will do movies another night.”

“Okay yes we will. Happy birthday again. I love you.”

“I love you both. Now let’s get drunk.” I said and made my way to the back gallery to get drunk with my vodka.
