Chapter 60 ♥

MARY POV

“Babe, why are you cooking?” Zayn spoke

“I thought you all would be hungry and it would be nice to have dinner together. However, I see that you all already have food. It’s okay.” Kajol spoke.

“You made food for everyone?” I asked

“Yeah everyone, including you” she said smiling.

“Okay how long for it to finish?”

“About 5 minutes why?”

“I’m starving. What did you make?” I said putting my Mc Donald’s bag in the fridge.

“Really?” she said smiling and I nodded. “I made Fried Rice, Macaroni Pie and Baked Chicken.”

“Yum… CHICKEN” Niall shouted at the top of his lungs. And we bust out laughing.

*10 minutes later*

We all sat at the table. Dylan sat at the head of the table with Vee on his right and Louis on his left.

Harry sat next to Louis. I was between Harry and Niall. After Niall were Liam, Zayn and Kajol.

We began to eat in silence.

I was the first to speak.

“Kaj this is really good” I smiled and took a sip of my soda.

“Thanks, anyways I would like to apologise to you. I would like to say sorry for calling you an attention whore when clearly you are not one. I am sorry for not being there when you needed me the most. I’m sorry for how I have acted for the past year and half,” she said sounding very sincere.

“I accept your apology,” I said and she smiled thanking me.

“I know that Kajol just apologise and I would like to come clean as well and apologise too,” Niall stated and I turned my attention to him.

“Firstly, you all know that I was married to Mary and some of you know how it happened while some of you don’t know.” he said directing that to Lily, Kelly, Jay and Alex.

“The last night before audition, do you remember that Lily dared us to get fake married? Yeah! Well we got married legally. Anyways we parted and never got to divorce until we met again after 2 years. At first, I wanted the divorce but then my mind changed. However, we still got divorced but it was taking a month to finalize. I asked Mary to be with me and I gave her a month for her to figure out here feelings. We promised to be faithful. You may be wondering why I am saying all this but I have a reason. I went to Ireland and broke my promise. I hooked up with Lily. Then I returned to Mary and I saw her with Dylan where I got jealous. Anyways we still got together but I was still with Lily. We went on tour again and Mary caught me sleeping with Lily, I begged her to get back with me but she refused and I still hadn’t broken up with Lily.” He paused for a second trying to return his breathing pace.

He concluded, “So I decided to make Mary look like the bad one and I kept on calling her slut when she is far from one. Mary I am truly sorry for what I did and when you left me, I was devastated. Lily I am also sorry. Can you both forgive me?”

Lily said that she forgives him and now all eyes were on me.

“Wow! First time it took you 2 years to say sorry. This time it only took about one and half year. So you guys believe me now?” I asked and they stayed quiet with a guilty face.

“You know when I told you all the same thing; you said that I was THE ONE who was playing with his emotions. The only people believed me are the same people I trust the most, Varuna, Dylan and Harry. However when Niall says the exact same thing then you realise that I am not to be blame. However, what can we do? …That’s Life!”

“However I accept you apology but I can forgive you just yet. I did that last time and look how things turned out.”

We continued to eat while everyone was in his or her own conversation. I kept talking with Harry the entire dinner while Niall did not say word.

When we finished ate I help Kajol with the dishes and thank her for dinner. I find it very nice of her to do this and trying to attempt to be friends again.

I am not sure if we can go back to being, the way we were before but I would like to be friends with her again. However, that will take time, as she needs to earn my trust.

Niall on the other hand well we would just see what happens. You could never predict the future.
