NIALL POV

I am standing here with my mom, Mary’s mom and Mason’s parents. They are talking about us maybe getting married. I look around to see if I can find Mary but with no luck, I did not.

I looked for Varuna, Dylan and Mason but it was to no avail. I had seen anyone of them within the past hour after the toast Mary made.

I drawed my attention back to the conversation when I heard my name call

“Yes”

“Can you please go call Mary for me” Mary’s mom asked and I nodded.

“Sure but do you know where they could be? I haven’t seen her around in a while”

“Yeah she actually went upstairs. Go to the third door on the left just down the hall. Okay love” Mason’s mom replied

“Thanks, I guess I’ll go call her” I said and began making my way to the staircase. I walk down the hall passing the first and second door. I reached the third door and stopped. It had the letters; J&M M on the door. I was about to knock when I heard some people talking.

“Well I needed a breather and then my sister called.” Mary said while I heard through the door.

“So what did she need? Is everything alright?” Vee asked

“Yes everything is okay. She just called to see how I was doing and she said that she is back in town next week and I volunteered to babysit Amelia for her” Mary said

“Are you sure you are okay with babysitting Amelia with everything that has happened?” Mason asked

“Well I hope it is I need to learn to deal with it. I cannot abandon my niece and sister when it was not their fault. At least I have Amelia to remind me of what Justin and I would have had. It will be fine. I will treat her as my own,” Mary stated

Many questions were running through my mind. Today I have learnt a whole lot about Mary and it seems like there is more to learn about her.

‘What did she mean by ‘What Justin and I would have had and I will treat her as my own?
