My friend, Minghao, said that we will get married. What a crap! I won't marry him! Unless my brain suddenly stopped working, then there's a possibility.

"Ma'am (y/n), your husband is already here."

Yeah. I think my brain really stopped. Minghao and I got married due to unavoidable circumstances. I am now living in his house- a mansion in fact. We have three maids, two drivers, a gardener, dog trainers, a chef and two butlers.

"Really?" I smiled at our maid. "Is the dinner ready?"

"Yes Ma'am. Our chef prepared special menus for you and your husband's wedding anniversary."

Anniversary? Oh? Today is our anniversary? Ahhhhhh~ So that's why he came home. I though he'll stay at his office. I even made a plan to watch anime all night. Darn it.

I walked towards the kitchen, wearing a printed peach dress with baby blue flowers that Minghao bought off a street back in Rome. Shrouded my body in one of the sackline, I continued my pace. Before, loose shirt and short-short are my usual outfit inside my apartment because it's comfortable. But for being Minghao's wife, I always need to wear beautiful formal clothes even if I'm just at home. I hate this. SO DAMN MUCH!

"You're home," I greeted Minghao and smile like I am at ease, this big wide grin that makes me look okay when I'm not.

"Here," he shoved me a bouquet of flowers. "For our wedding anniversary."

Minghao bought me flowers? This is so so so funny! I want to laugh but our maids are looking so I can't. There are his father's spies to make sure that we'll be a lovey dovey couple.

"Awww, gosh honey. Thank you for this! You are so thoughtful," I acted.

His face flushed red. I know what has angered him. He is annoyed by this sweet acting of mine and I bet he wanted to puke right now. Driving him crazy is my specialty. If only there's a course 'Annoying Xu Minghao' then I'll definitely become the valedictorian. Well, we're friends for too long.

"Let's sit down and eat, shall we?" he offered and pulled the chair for me to sit. As I sat down, I heard his sharp breath. I gave the flowers to our maid and told her to put it on a vase.

During a year and nine months, Minghao taught me a lot of things so I can fit on his lifestyle. I learned arts, played golf, bought expensive clothes though I am still thinking it's a waste of money, memorized wines and learned how to drive four wheels.

"Is this well-done?" I asked the chef when he served the steak and wine.

"Yes Madam," chef replied.

And yes! This time, I know the difference between medium rare steak and well-done. All of these lifestyles are because of marrying my rich friend, Minghao. However...

"I'm done eating." Minghao wiped his lips and stood up. Without glancing me, he walked away. I shrugged my shoulder and finished my meal too.

"Madam, I envy you for having a sweet husband like sir," our maid commented while standing on my side.

"Why?" I inquired.

"He brought you flowers. He is busy at work but he gave his time just to come home. Tonight, it will be really great if you..." She raised her brows.

I know what she wanted to say. She means that Minghao and I will make out tonight so I can bear his child.

I laughed as I stand up. "Then I'll follow him to our room so we can start." I winked at her. As soon as I turned my back, a sigh escaped from my lips.
