I woke up startled as my alarm clock begins to screech. Ugh. I rolled under the covers to try dull out the sound but it wasn't working.

Dammit. Istorbo!

As usual, I lazily stumbled out of bed as I reached and turned off that god-awful device that I especially hate during Mondays.

Not even a minute passed after I closed my eyes when I heard footsteps storming into my room.  "Aba, bata ka. Wala ka pa bang balak bumangon diyan? Tanghali na!"

Yung isa ko pang alarm. Bibig ni Yaya Miling. "Go away, Yaya! I need five more minutes." I groaned. I'm still sleepy. Past midnight na ako nakauwi kagabi. I had too much to drink and is starting to regret every decisions I've ever made with regards to consuming alcohol.

Naririning ko siyang bumubulong bulong. I thought that's it and that she'll leave me alone afterwards kaya hinayaan ko lang. I was wrong, for the next thing I knew, nag simula na naman siya sa panenermon.

I rolled my eyes as I crankily stood out of my bed. Medyo nahihilo pa nga ako but I have no choice.

I'm not really in the mood. "Mag asikaso ka na. Napaka bagal mo pa naman kumilos. Mahuhuli ka na naman sa klase mo."

As she finally walked out of my room, I went to the bathroom to prepare myself for school. It took me an hour and a half to get ready.  I don't usually take that long. Maganda na ako kahit saan pang anggulo. It's just that, hangover from last night is starting to hit me.

Kumain ka na muna." says Yaya as I finally went downstairs and saw her waiting. Paulit-ulit!

"No, thanks. I'll have coffee nalang on the way." Just the thought of food alone is enough to make me nauseous. Actually, anak nalang siya ng used to be driver namin na nag retired na last year due to old age. Isa na siya sa pinagkakatiwalaan ko dito. That's not an excuse though.

It will definitely take a while before we reach school and I goddamn need my coffee now. It's a good thing na hindi masyadong busy ang branch na ito. People around the area usually order to go. "Good morning, Ma'am. What can I get for you?"

I can't help but rolled my eyes. It's that over-friendly barista again with that ridiculous smile of his. Feeling gwapo talaga 'tong bwisit na' to. He's been trying to flirt with me ever since I first visited here. Kapal ng mukha. I'm so out of his league.
