Eunjoo's POV
(One month after)
"Eunjoo? Are you finished? Jihyun is already here" Seojun asked as he entered the kitchen
"Almost"
"Alright" Seojun left
I finished eating and went to the living room. I saw Jihyun smiling at me. I waved at her and quickly gave her a tight hug.
"Are you giving me a ride?"
Jihyun nodded and smiled "Yes, I got my damn car! Aaaaargh! I'm so excited to give you your first ride"
"If that's so, I'm excited"
We left the house and got in her car. She started driving. It's been almost a week since she got her driving license and I am still scared to let her drive but what can I do? I need to support her. She's not that bad.
"Your brother said you just got home. We can just visit Caius tomorrow. What do you think? I mean you need to rest" Jihyun
"I am fine, I'm not that tired. When can I visit Caius? I'll be leaving this week. I am really going to be busy"
"Yes, I know but you also need rest. You shouldn't push yourself if you can't do it anymore" Jihyun
"Whatever. You just want me to stay"
"Of course, who doesn't want?" Jihyun rolled her eyes
"Just drive, your being talkative. Anyway, did you bought the flowers?"
"Yes, boss. At the back" Jihyun
I took the flowers from the back seat. I need to visit Caius now, if not now, when can I? I am going to leave this country for good.
After a couple of minutes we finally arrived at the cemetery. I saw someone sitting ay the grass, I guess it's Caius' visitor.
"Wow, why does it have to be here?" Jihyun whispered
"Don't tell me you are going to stay here to avoid him?"
"What else? I never talked to him again. I was shy and embarrassed. Damn it" Jihyun
"Alright, I won't force you but wait for me here"
"Yup, I will. Say hi to Caius for me Jihyun smiled
I nodded and got out of the car carrying the flowers "Hyunjin!"
He lookd back and waved at me "What brought you here?"
I quickly walked to him and sat beside him "I just want to visit. Actually, it's not just me. I also have Jihyun with me but..."
"Yeah, I understand. She's trying to avoid me" Hyunjin sighed
"It's been a month since we talked to each other although we always see each other at school. How are you? And them?"
"Fine? Yup, it's been a month since you and Jihyun started avoiding all of us. How are you and Jihyun?" Hyunjin asked
"We're okay. She received her driving license and she got her first car today. You want to congratulate her?"
"Nope, she will probably drove away if she sees me walking towards her" Hyunjin
Yeah, Jihyun and I were avoiding all of them although we are in the same school. We trasnferred to the section next to us. I think it's better if we won't see them almost everyday. It's still in my mind, I can't forget what happened.
"I wonder if Caius is still alive, am I still going to ignore you all?"
"No? I know my cousin. He won't let you do such. He will force you to talk to us" Hyunjin smiled
"This is so hard"
"Can I tell you something?" Hyunjin whispered
I nodded.
"Actually, I don't know if I should say this but I will tell you. You and Caius were school mates last year and he is watching you. To be honest, I already know you, because he always sends me your pictures and updates about you. I knew what happened to you. He saw how Junseo broke your heart many time, he saw how Junseo cheated on you but you still acted like you never cared. You acted like it's okay. He knows that Junseo was just playing with you but he was shy to approach you. He said you hate popular guys except from Junseo, the guy you like. There, you are in a relationship with Junseo, but still, he watches you and follow you. Don't think that he is a weirdo but he really cares for you. He was there when you cried because you heard about what Junseo thought of you. Again, he was shy to go to you. Lastly, he was the one who saved you from Junseo's friends-" Hyunjin
"H-He knew? H-He was t-there?"
He nodded "I guess you already saw the scar on his arm? It was from that night when he saved you. One of those guys cut him using a knife. It's true that Junseo doesn't know anything but his friends' plan. Also, Caius knew about Penelope's plan. That's why he was telling you not to go but he can't stop you. So, he attended the party as well, for you. He knew Junseo is Felix's cousin. He planned everything about you going with him on the speed boat, the explosion, and Penelope leaving him behind that place. He put a small chip which is the gps something to track you down. He planned everything well"
"Is i-it also p-planned that he will die that day?"
Hyunjin sighed "That's not part of the plan. The plan is to save you from danger, to make sure you aren't hurt. Unfortunately, he died, he is really stupid. That guy doesn't even listen to me"
I stayed quiet and looked at Caius' grave.
"I hope you still remembers your promise to Caius" Hyunjin
