CHAPTER TWO: 𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒

    I gasped out my breath as I laid in my bed, feeling completely exhausted when all I did was sleep. I turned to my left to adjust my breathing as my body felt like it was beaten up.

    I grunted when I felt the hard, cold material on my back. I probably fell on the floor again. Damn it. I reached on my pocket to get my phone because apparently my music has stopped.

     I finally opened my eyes and I immediately closed it when I saw the bright blue sky. And my room's ceiling is white. Did my mom successfully kick me out? Is this how sleep paralysis feel like?

   I saw it on the internet, and it stated that never open your eyes when experiencing sleep paralysis.

   But a little part of me kinda wanted to open it,  damn you Sam and Colby and any other paranormal channels on YouTube.

     "Excuse me, are you feeling alright?"

    When did sleep paralysis demons ask if people were okay? I kept my eyes closed, maybe this is a trap. They're acting nice then they'll attack me when I open it.

    If I had the courage, I could film the demon pestering me and I could be included in an entry to Nuke's Top 5.

    "Fuck off, demon! I'm calling our priest!" I yelled, attempting to be brave and try to call someone.

   But then I forgot that when you're experiencing sleep paralysis, you can't move.

    So I just laid there, eyes closed. I could feel my heart beat in anxiety. In attempt to calm down and not panic, I sang Dynamite by BTS which was trending today. 

    "Light it up like a dynamite!" I mumbled under my breath.

      "I quite don't get what you're saying young lady, but the train will be leaving soon." The unknown voice spoke once again.

   Wait, I could sing! But I thought when people scream they're actually muted.. so this isn't sleep paralysis, then? Is this lucid dreaming? But still, I won't open my eyes.

     NOT TODAY, SATAN.

     I should've played Trisha Paytas' worship song while I slept, maybe I wouldn't be in this situation if I did. With a trembling heart, I started singing in hopes for Jesus to come and save me from the wrath of the devil.

     "I love you Jesus, I love you Jesus.." I muttered under my breath, imagining that there was a bright light around me that could protect me from any sorts of evil enchantment.

     I have watched The Conjuring an unhealthy amount of times, and I've learned so much from it.

     Maybe Paranormal Activity is a much more valuable movie to watch, after all, it's based on a true story and deals with some cult shit. Well, The Conjuring is based on a true story, but I'm not hanging there until I meet Annabelle.
