Brielle POV

Uma growled and sent her pirate crew to descend on us. Those who didn't have swords scrambled to toss them around however two of us already had swords, and that was Harry and I. Harry quickly drew his sword and bought the others time with me by fending off the early attackers, also by growling at them. Harry's growl was... something. I can imagine if I was actually scared of Harry that would be terrifying, but well I of course am not scared of Harry, so it kind of just sends rapid shivers up my spine, not because I'm scared I might add. He seemed to unleash his inner, I wouldn't say villain, more of a fighter sorts.

I for one whipped out my real training, both in gymnastics and fencing. I think the crew was brought back down to earth when I did my gainer flash a few moments ago, really showed that I wasn't playing games, and may I say there are plenty of things to jump from here so the environment was prime for my style of fighting. Once everyone had their swords we all got into our positions of sorts, I called most of the placings because come on if I can handle a military I can handle a few people. I was quite occupied right off the spot, needing to get more in the mindset to be successful. I was already doing flips, jumping off boxes, doing sword spins to ward off more attackers. Then thankfully I got a bit of a warning from Harry,

"Derrière vous!"

(Behind you!)

I spun on one heel and immediately clashed swords with Uma who apparently had tried to sneak up behind me. She looked between Harry and I with a very confused expression. It is very helpful that Harry is now quite good at French because it really threw her off that I was so quick to respond to her sad excuse for a "sneak attack",

"Merci chéri!"

(Thank you darling!"

I shouted back to him, Uma only looking more confused,

"Pas de problème bonnie lass"

(No problem bonnie lass)

I giggled and focused again on Uma who was royally confused at this point. I did a few wrist rolls to manipulate the blade quickly around me like a windmill, eventually getting it fast enough to develop a good spin just to show off a little, and because it's a good way to really intimidate a competitor.

Then I came off of one spin and struck her blade again with the momentum, going into a full back and forth between us. I could tell she was angry with me, her hits were harsh but sloppy. She then made the bad decision to overswing, something that happens when someone is putting too much force behind the strike. I dodged from her overswing, and due to the fact that she over swung, she left a good portion of her unguarded. We had quite a bit of space between us, so to get to the unguarded space quick enough I did a quick aerial, landing and spinning around to face her before quickly lifting one leg perfectly horizontally and kicking her in the stomach before she could block.

Moral of the story? Don't overswing and that won't happen.

She stumbled back and grasped her stomach for a second. I backed up and gave her a conniving smirk, fueling her anger further. Then she came at me with a growly yell and swings all over the place which at this point I simply backed away from. Then she paused and took a deep breath to rein herself back enough to actually put up a fight.

Uma then flipped her blade around herself, spinning it as I did. I slowly nodded and acted like it didn't bother me nor intimidate me, its because it didn't. I repositioned myself and put on hand on my hip and pointed the glistening silver sword at her, the Celtic knot inside the guard looking back at me,

"Engard"

With that I really got into it, parrying and striking back and forth. She wasn't a polished fighter for sure, but she was pretty good. As I kept her occupied I took a quick visual search to make sure no one needed help and no one was being shanked, thankfully no one was being shanked. I went ahead and purposely spited her multiple times, each time only pissing her off more,
