"Listen to me. You don't want to do this. Sam. I've been like a father to you, boy. Y/N has been there since you were four. Somewhere inside, you've got to know that."
"Well, that's just it. Sorry," he says hollowly.
He keeps the gun trained on you as he moves to stand behind your father. He has nowhere left to go except to just take what Sam is giving him. He is going to kill him, and if you use magic, then he's going to kill your daughter. Who do you save? You can only save one of them... who is more important?
Thankfully, you don't have to choose because as soon as Sam raises the knife, Dean appears behind him and catches his arm. He knocks the gun out of his hand, and you finally have the strength to let the tears fall.
"Hi, Sam. I'm back," Dean chuckles before knocking out his brother with one punch to the jaw.
You can't even seem to move, just have enough energy to watch Dean untie your father. They move their lips and speak, but your mind can't comprehend what they are saying. It all sounds like a lot of mumbo jumbo.
"Y/N, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Dean asks as he moves closer to you.
"Just go. Bring Sam inside. Please," you mutter.
"Y/N–"
"Go, Dean!" you exclaim louder than you intended to.
He shuts up and takes his brother inside with the help of your father. They leave you in the shed, alone, trying to comprehend just what happened. All you feel is sadness and fear for what Sam can do to you. Dean is back which means he did it, but then again, twenty-four hours hasn't passed, so maybe he failed. You want to be happy that he's back and he made it out alive, but all you can think about is Sam and how he was going to shoot your kid if you even so much as made a move toward your dad.
All that sadness and fear turns into something different though. Out of the entire year and some-odd months that Sam has been back, he has done nothing but treat you unfairly and acted like a dick to you. He thinks he can say whatever he wants and do whatever he wants and there won't be consequences. You've constantly told him you'd kill him if he hurt you, but he already has. He's hurt you mentally and emotionally, and that's more than enough reason to get pissed.
All that sadness and fear turns into red-hot rage when you think about what he did to you. Rage that can only be taken out on him. Panic room or not, you are going to kill him. You stomp all the way back to your dad's house and down to the basement. If smoke could come out of your ears, they would be on fire.
"Where is that son of a bitch!!" you scream. "I'm going to fucking kill him!!"
"Y/N, no," Dean gasps and holds you back from attacking Sam.
"Let go of me, Dean! He can't keep treating me this way and expects to get away with it!"
"We got it under control, Y/N."
"He threatened our daughter, Dean! Move!" you yell and practically push him out of the way.
Your feet are angry as you march over to the panic room. Instead of opening the door, you slide the window to see Sam staring at you as if he knew you were coming.
"I'm going to kill you, you son of a bitch," you threaten. "Just wait until I get my hands on you!"
"Alright, come on. We're going upstairs," Dean determines.
He has to peel you away from the door, and your father stands in your place to keep watch over Sam. Dean takes you upstairs to get you to cool off before you get to go back down there.
