Avengers facility.

"Okay, so the how works. Now we gotta figure out the when and the where. Almost everyone in this room had hand an with at least one of the six infinity stones." Steve started off the conversation standing in front of everyone who was sitting at a large table.

"Or substitute the word "encounter" for "damn near been killed" by one of the six infinity stones." Tony added along.

"Well, I haven't... but I don't even know what the hell your talking about." Scott yapped in.

"Well count yourself lucky." Elliott said leaning back into his chair.

"Regardless, we only have enough pym particles for one round-trip each. And these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history." Bruce walked around the table standing behind tony.

"Our history. Some here are even enhanced by one of the stones. Looking at you Miller." Tony point to Elliott, Elliott rolled his eyes slightly. Everyone now knows about his secret, which was hard to keep from everyone. "So, not a lot of convenient stops to just drop in, yeah?"

"Which means we have to pick our targets." Clint stated.

"Correct."

"So, let's start with the Aether. Thor what do you know?" Steve called out to the god but got no response, everyone in the room tuned around to see the man, he looked asleep?

"Is he asleep?" Natasha questioned.

"No, no. I'm pretty sure he's dead." Rhodes joked.

"Thor!" Elliott yelled loudly making the man jump. "Tell is what you know about the Aether, please."

Thor groaned as he got up from his chair walking over to the monitor showing the Aether. "Uh, where to start? Um... the Aether, firstly, is not a stone. Someone called it a stone before." Thor pointed an Accusing finger at Steve. "Uh it's more of an angry sludge sort of thing so someone's gonna need to amend that and stop saying that." Elliott sighed knowing this was gonna somewhere it didn't need to, but he enjoyed listening to his friends stories so he let him continue. "Here's an interesting story, though, rough, about the Aether. My grandfather many years ago had to hide it from the dark elves."

Thor mocked make an ooh sound. "Scary beings. So Jane, actually." He pushed a button on the monitor. "Oh, there she is. Yeah, so Jane was an old flame of mine. You know she stuck her hand inside the rock this one time and then the Aether stuck itself inside her and she became very sick so I had to take her to Asgard, which is where I'm from and we tried to fix her." Thor started to ramble, he ended up getting sad when he brought up his mother and how he and Jane aren't dating anymore.
