The sun had already arisen and its rays descended upon the pink haired boy's troubled face, casting its glow on his skin. It seemed like he was having a very bad dream since some whimpers were escaping his pale lips occasionally. Suffocating fumes were entering his lungs, making it hard for him to breathe. His body felt awfully hot, like it was on fire as certain voices pierced through his ears, but he couldn't make them out since the words were very foggy. As he attempted to observe more sharply, he felt the ground under him being shaken strongly, causing him to fall down with a great force and hit his head to the stone.
Yeonjun's eyes flew open at once followed by his heavy breaths as the beeping sound of the monitor sped up along with his heart. He felt a huge pain in his back as he tried to move, forcing him to stay on his place motionless. He looked around to see if anyone was there or not and to his surprise he saw the silver haired male who was sleeping in the chair again, he was leaning back and had a red bedspread wrapped around his body since it was cold in the room. Yeonjun's heart melted at realization that Beomgyu hadn't left him alone even if he had to sleep uncomfortably in the chair instead of the soft mattress of his bed. His lips curled in the corner slightly because even though he was dealing with a terrible pain and dizziness at that moment, he still felt happy at the sight of him. He pulled his breathing mask down and tried to sit up again, but stinging feeling was shot in his body this time too and he couldn't help but yelp in agony as he winced and closed his eyes tightly, his breathing even heavier than before.
Beomgyu opened his eyes confusingly as he heard Yeonjun's voice, thinking it was part of his dream, but his eyes widened as he saw him awake making a grimace out of pain. "Yeonjun!" He yelled at once as he jumped up from his seat and leaned down to him, still in shock that the male had finally come to his consciousness. "You are awake," he said in a teary voice as Yeonjun looked up at him, seeing how happy and excited his eyes looked. The pink haired male felt some shivers running down his spine when Beomgyu caressed his cheek softly and felt his teardrops on his face followed by the younger's crying afterwards. He stood on the floor with his knees, burying his face into the older's chest and weeping loudly. Yeonjun knew Beomgyu loved him and cared for him but he never knew he would be that terrified of his death. He slowly brought his hand to his head and ran his fingers through his soft silver hair smoothly as he closed his eyes and sighed to calm his mind since too many emotions were attacking it. "I was very scared," Beomgyu cried, dropping his tears onto Yeonjun's bare chest and making his heart hurt mercilessly. "I thought I would lose you, hyung."
Yeonjun kept tangling his fingers in his hair as he tried to fight off his pain_both physical and emotional.
"Calm down," he spoke in a soft voice, his eyes still closed, "I'm here. I haven't gone anywhere."
Beomgyu lifted his head up and stared down at him with a tear stained face, his tears still wetting his flushed cheeks as he observed the older boy's face carefully, thinking how hard it would be to live without him. The recent days made him realise how important Yeonjun was to him and how much relief it was to see his dark brown eyes again that always stared at him with a huge affection and warmth glistening in them. Even if Beomgyu hated himself, seeing the way Yeonjun's eyes crammed with bright stars while looking at him, Beomgyu couldn't help but feel how important he was since Yeonjun's eyes always looked like he was finding his whole world in the silver haired male. Beomgyu's heart ached at realizing how much he always hurt him by turning him down all the time. He softly caressed the older's cheek while looking into his eyes with a huge love and sorrow embedded in them. "I love you, hyung," he mumbled quietly but still loudly enough for Yeonjun to make out the words. These words, coming from Beomgyu lips, always made him happy but hurt him at the same time, knowing his love was only friendly and nothing more.
"I know," he whispered with a little, affectionate smile flattered on his lips and gently patted his hand that was still brushing his cheek. He attempted to move since he had completely forgotten about his pain but it attacked his body again, causing him to whimper in pain and pull the silver haired male out of his trance. "Are you hurt?" Beomgyu asked nervously, his eyes widened slightly. Yeonjun nodded his head while drawing his lips in a thin line, causing Beomgyu to get on his feet immediately, "I'll call the doctor," he announced and he leaned down to the older boy, "Have it on before he comes, okay?" He said as grabbed his breathing mask, gently pulling it up to Yeonjun's face again and placing it on his nose and lips. Yeonjun nodded his head, not going against the care Beomgyu was demonstrating. Beomgyu placed a quick kiss on the older's temple before storming out of the room at high speed, causing Yeonjun to smile in happiness under the mask as his eyes followed him affectionately before the younger was out of his vision.
