Chapter 7 WOW! Part 29

A few days after that, we had gotten a call from 1D asking if we were free on Sunday. Seeing as we had done everything we needed to do, we said yes, but they never said why.

Today was Sunday and we were all sat in the living room. Shann was still pissed about what Brad had done. I told Abby not to tell her, but she still did. The tension in the room was making me anxious. Anxious to leave. Then, thankfully, my phone rang and I left the room to answer it

Me: hello?

? : Hello. Is this Katelyn?

Me: yeah. Who’s this?

? : Oh, it’s Simon. Cowell. I am calling to say that a car is coming to pick you 3 girls up in a couple of minutes.

Me: Um… excuse me?

What the hell was he on about?

Simon: oh, didn’t you know? Today, 4 wishes and 1D are going to start rehearsals in the O2 arena. Since that is where the UK tour will begin

Me: what!

I couldn’t believe it! We were going to meet One Direction and perform (well…practise) in front of them! I started to get nervous, then realised…

Me: what about Ellie?

Simon: she’s going to pick up all of the clothes for you all for the night of the concert first, then meeting you there.

This whole time all I kept wondering was “why weren’t we told this earlier” but just when I was about to ask, a car beeped twice outside. Simon obviously heard because he said

Simon: right, you need to go now. Your ride is here. Don’t be late!

Me: what do you mean late? You never told us a time-

Then, the line went dead as he had hung up on me.

I walked into the living room and then said “we need to go, move your butts” my voice was mixed with excitement and confusion, which sounded quite weird. “Why?” Shann asked, getting up. Abby’s confused expression was also asking me the same thing. I started to grin wildly as I announced “we are going to the O2 arena to practise for the 1D tour with… 1D” the ending was quite obvious, I know, but it was still really exciting. Abby and Shann instantly ran and got their shoes on, I followed.
