I told him everything and after I was done he slowly nodded “so… yeah” I said awkwardly “can I say something?” he asked, I nodded “I think that you and Brad are closer than you think. He obviously cares about you and is more hurt than angry” Liam paused “but why?” I asked, before he could carry on “you didn’t tell him you had a boyfriend. But, I think there is more his reasons. I think you care more than you think as well” Liam hesitated at the last bit and my mouth dropped open. “W-why would you think that?” I stuttered “because of how much you have tried to make things right. You don’t talk about him like a friend.” Liam didn’t carry on after that. I bit my lip and considered what he said “I don’t think you would be so upset either” he sighed, wiping away a tear that was rolling down my cheek. “I… thanks” I whispered, looking him in the eye “for what?” he asked, confused. I took a deep breath as I realised the truth. I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t realised this sooner. “For making me realise… I love Brad” I sighed, Liam smiled at me slightly and nodded, but to my surprise, I carried on with “more than Ross.”
