Chapter 9 Victories and disappointments, part 44

After that was all over, 4 wishes and 1D all headed to the studio where the Graham Norton show was filmed. When we got there, our hair and makeup was done and then it began. To be honest, this was all going really fast. 1D was already sat on stage when it began talking to Graham, while Shann, Abby, Ellie and I waited in the left wing for our que Then Graham said to the boys “so, you boys are going on tour soon, right?” he said “yep” they all nodded “who are your support acts?” he instantly asked, which seemed very forward, I expected him to ask about them not the support acts “well, we’re getting 5 Seconds of Summer back on tour with us, which will be fun-“ Liam said, which made loads of girls in the crowd scream, I giggled at that, then Liam continued “- and our other support act is a girl group called 4 Wishes. They are also going to be our band for the tour. They are very talented girls” the rest of the boys nodded in agreement “well, they’re a fairly new band, so not many people have heard of them. But if I’m not mistaken, Ellie Harrison is a part of the band?” Graham asked “yep! She’s in the band. She’s plays the keyboard” Niall answered “they sound great! I would like to meet them. Do you want to meet them?” he turned to the audience and they all cheered, which felt nice since it was kind of for us. “Okay, please welcome 4 Wishes” Graham said, that was our que and we walked on the stage smiling. We waved at the audience and hugged Graham one at a time, politely, and then sat down on the spare sofa on the stage. “so girls, would you like to introduce yourselves “I’m Abby Leah, I play the bass” “I’m Shann Hough, I play the drums” “I’m Katelyn, I play the guitar” we all smiled “and Niall literally just said mine” Ellie joked “and you all sing?” he asked “yep” we nodded “okay, now today is the day that your first album is being released, right?” he said, we nodded excitedly “we all wrote the songs for the album” Ellie bragged with a huge grin “impressive” Graham commented.

I zoned out for most of the interview after that, it was just questions aimed at Ellie about her solo carrier and then how we started playing music and how we met, which wasn’t that interesting, I met Ellie in my primary, Shann in my first year of high school, and Abby in my second year of high school. After it finished, we were quickly escorted out of the studio and then pushed into a car to go home “what the hell just happened?” I muttered to myself, generally confused. It was just going too damn quick! “Well, we just did an interview and now we’re going home” Shann giggled, I rolled my eyes and looked out of the window. Not talking the whole way back.
